Thanks for stopping by! This video is for Jim S. as he has been patiently waiting for a new video! For another Georgia campground favorite: ruclips.net/video/zVB2QrElAUE/видео.html
Thanks! We have had our a/c running in our trailer since April - finally feeling like fall and I can narrate without the loud air conditioning running!
Yep - it's been awhile! We have had the a/c running non-stop in the trailer, so a bit hard to do editing with that noise! All good - enjoying South Carolina at the moment.
Now that looked like a great campground we’re definitely going to have to check it out. I’ve heard some people talk about the fishing there and those sites on the water looked amazing! Great job on the video and thanks for sharing, now we got a new place to explore.
Georgia has awesome State Parks! I think we have camped at 19 of them & day tripped to 2 others. The waterfront sites were great! Kolomoki Mounds is lakefront (I have a video from a year + ago on it), but people have seen alligators there.
That’s awesome I’m going to check it out, thanks for the info I really appreciate it, I’ll definitely check your video out! I’m not to worried about the alligators, up until 3 years ago we lived in Fl since the late 80s and that’s just the norm for us lol.. My wife and I actually hunted them quite a bit when we drew tags, definitely was a staple in our diet lol.. Thanks again and have a great week!
@@swampstalkeroutdoors oh wow on the hunting of them 😳 We were in Florida in April - saw a lot of alligators between FL & AL! I went on an airboat ride in The Everglades and saw SO many baby alligators - it was such a fun time (I have a video on that too 😂)!
These are both really nice sites! 49 might have more sun and be have a bit more of a populated feel - 73 is a long pull thru and might have a little more trees around and on a quieter loop. Check which way any prevailing wind or weather would be coming from. 49 might be more open to weather. They are both awesome sites!! Have fun!
@@tonyapadgett2886 That’s great! That was the second site we were in - where our dog was doing her version of “swimming”. Hope you get good weather. ☀️
Hi! I looked back through my travel journal - I was able to stream Netflix here as well as upload videos. I don’t have any TV reception notes for this park. If you don’t need the internet to work this is a great park!

We are trying to decide on staying on site 73 or site 49. We will be there in January. We have a 36ft 5th wheel. Any suggestions?

Thank you! We choose 73 :)

Nice video! What is the site# starting at 1:00?
I think 8-13? I read this was area heavily affected by hurricane Helene. Hoping it’s ok.
Do you remember how the WiFi was and was it good and the TV reception?
