I don't know, but you shouldn't allow your players to play so deep into the night with another match coming up in a few hours for the winner. Revisit your policies and communicate them to the tournament organizers. It's a matter of players' health.

I am not sure whether you have ever trained any sport, especially profesionally, but believe me, that disturbing you day-night rythm in such way is more demanding than playing 2 matches in one day. Also many tennis players, who attend tournaments both in singles and doubles or mixes - they have to play 2 matches at 1 day very often. So I disagree with you.

What a match only! The powerful serve of Rybakina vs. the great defence of Kasatkina! Maybe it wasn't the highest quality match of the year, but like intrigue and fighting spirit by the both players, that was on the top. I didn't know who will win it until the last point! This match shows why following women tennis isn't less worth than the men's one. Hopefully Rybakina to recover fastly after this triller and to watch final between Swiatek ane Rybakina!

All things considered, it was the right call -
Even in the US Open they have late matches, and the tournament is two weeks long -
Had they delayed to the next day Saturday, then you have the same problem with the semis -
Overall, I do agree though that the WTA / ATP schedules are insane - imo everyone is to blame, including the players

This sucks for both ladies to be playing until 3:00 AM. I understand that the weather has been topsy-turvy, but the organizers need to do better with the schedule. Playing until 3:00 AM doesn’t help recovery. I feel bad for the players. I am tired of these 1000 tournaments not having a god damn roof. Rybakina has to play a semifinal with possibly no rest. Do better, Canadian Open!

Why exactly is she a good role model? Can you name a reason? Daria Kasatkina is a role model because she left her home country of Russia where it is illegal to be LGBT, and she had the courage to criticize Putin and his war of aggression against Ukraine. She won’t be able to return to Russia for a long time probably. That’s standing up for what you believe in. That’s a real role model.
