I am looking at a drift they made in mario circuit right at the first piranha plant, any reason why he jumped right there in between the hitbox? Was it simply to get a new turbo and I'm overthinking, or was there more at play there?
@@Puff222 Yeah, on Lap 1 you should release the mini-turbo, as the speed boost can dodge the Piranha Plant bite. This works for other Piranha Plants too, like on Music park Lap 2 you can release an ultra min-turbo and dodge the left Piranha Plant's bite with the speed boost.

I think he released it cuz it gave him enough speed to get by the piranha without getting hit
