My main piano is a Kawai GL40 Grand but I am looking for something to get silent practice on. Would you recommend this Nord Grand, Kawai MP11SE or Roland RD2000EX? I play a lot of Chopin and Brahms but getting into some jazz as well. Thank you
@ I’ve listen to several Nords and they all sound artificial for acoustic pianos. Also I’ve never seen anyone on stage using a Nord other than for a piano and pad or string sounds. Most are following the fad of worship leaders using Nords but I’ve never any of them using the live sound knobs. The church we go to when we are at our lake house started using a Nord. I asked the keyboard player about it and she said she know knows how to get the piano and strings sounds and don’t use the other functions. That is paying over price for just using those sounds. And she had been using her Nord for over a year.

Like your playing a lot, not sure about the nord though
Its like a 15 year old Yamaha CP-5, ungraded, but double the price.

Just another over priced Nord that sounds average.
In your opinion, what do you honestly think this Grand 2 should be priced at and why?
