Go to rest room say ill be right back. I walk by a crap table I have 5 bucks in my hand. An old man in a wheel chair, rolls up, looks at me like a little kid and says? you playing? I only got 5 bucks was gonna put it on the field. He says? Bet what I bet. He rolled 11 times before crapping out. Had I not been a chickenshit, and let it ride like he did. I woulda prolly made a couple grand, he hit hard 8 3 times and let it ride twice, When the show let out I turned that 5 bucks into just over $700 and never touched the dice. That was the coolest Vegas story and I lived here since 1975. I offered him dinner with me and my cuzz, but he said he wasnt hungry. Lol. We ate good.

sorry for such a late response to this video but I was curious why the casino puts maximums on tables ? Like would it not be in their best interests to just accept whatever a player throws down ? Or is it to much of a disruption ?
They put maximums to prevent people taking advantage of hot runs and the casino losing millions. It’s happened before. That’s why there are maximum bets.
The dealers got 27 across...how do you keep those bets up and let dealers take just the winnings? I always encounter tables that seem to require the whole bet to come down and goto the box...?
There’s two ways to tip dealers. Some collect a tip once the number hits then that’s it for that. If you want to play the tip each time, tell them to “piggyback” the bet. You give them any amount you want to tip and they win that every time it rolls. For example say I piggyback $1 on the six and the six hits, I get my winnings in full and they get a dollar. The tip will stay on and be collected each time it hits until you 7 out. I do that and if you get a hot roll then the dealers can make a good amount. And of course you can just give it to them without them playing ☺️
I have also heard the term "player control" meaning if you "tip the dealer" a place bet number, for example place $1 on the 8, and the 8 hits, usually, the tip is paid out and then taken away as well. If you say player control, you, the player, can tell the dealer to keep it up so it continues working every time it hits. so if you want to tip the dealers, i would say, dealers on the 8 player control. That way if the 8 hits, it can stay up so i am not burning $1 to tip every time it is paid and down.

That way if the 8 hits, it can stay up so i am not burning $1 to tip every time it is paid and down.
usually in vegas they’ll keep them up or press but most casinos around the country will take them down once they hit once.
