- I've died so often on night 4 and 5, I got all the mini-games probably!
I've counted about four in total, if there are anymore, please tell me!
EDIT: I didn't get all of them!

These minigames contain jumpscares (obviously). I didn't add any of them in, they came with the games. Just thought I'd put this in here in case anyone gets pissed off at Foxy popping out at them.

Man, I miss when _this_ was FNAF. A story told through cryptic clues and hints with a hopeless, foreboding atmosphere.

I love that contrast between 8-Bit minigames and the main gameplay. As far as I can tell, these minigames are supposed to be a secret storytelling with low quality to distinguish them from the main gameplay and also to be as mysterious and less understandable as possible. Brilliant.

I’m pretty sure that Scott didn’t wanna spend too much time and money recreating actual detailed 3d models for the lore mini games, either that or everything would’ve just been 2d jpeg’s
And also this was done to not show a graphic detail of a child's death in a video game.

When I first saw this without knowing man I was very terrified by the ambience and the last jumps care love this game
Fun Fact - In the Giving Life minigame, after you give the "last" life, a sprite of another child appears a millisecond and then the Golden Freddy jumpscare rolls in.
Pretty sure everyone knows that.

That was a girl mate she was the puppet and if u ask why bro search up the end of freddy Fazbear pizzeria sim end and then at the end of the cassette guy talking hes saying that he was sorry his daughter got shut out and left to die and that is when she became the puppet caring for the lost souls until they were freed

That's so eerie, are the animatronics referring to the children here? It would make sense considering that they are aggressive towards adults and kind towards kids. I feel like maybe the animatronics are trying to save the kids from adults, or perhaps just one in particular, but because of what they are they can't discern one individual human from another. Maybe that's why they attack adults in the first place especially considering the phone guy said, "...they can spot a predator a mile away."
Let's not forget that someone "must have tampered with their facial recognition system" and they think that any adult is a predator or some kind of criminal.
I'm looking at you marionette... or purple guy.
Ah right~ I forgot about that part towards the end of the game! But it does make me wonder when the mini games take place, it could be pre-prequal. We may have to wait until FNAF3! Hopefully there will be answers to all these questions. XD
Nicole Smith Did he announce a FNAF3? People have been talking about it, but I haven't heard of it's announcement. I mean, just because there are a few unanswered questions doesn't mean there will be another prequel, personally I would love there to NOT be another game, leave the mystery, but that's just me.
Mr. Degradation Nah, nothing concrete, but seeing how successful FNAF 1 and 2 are a 3rd wouldn't surprise me. But I agree, I love all the mystery around the game, it makes it that much better when our minds can fabricate the story! :D
Nicole Smith I love mystery, that's what drew me to the game in the first place! Yeah a third one won't be surprising, it's just that people have been talking about it like it's ACTUALLY going to come out, like it's been confirmed or something. I would actually be happier if Scott worked on other projects. I'd love to see what other new things he comes up with!

Man, looking back, I just realized how *better* these kinds of cutscenes are in 2, than it was on the newer games.
For instance everything seems much more darker with that ear grating beeping in the background and the horrible CRT quality. Which honestly makes it more believable to be honest.
I was listening to this, and when the voice started spelling, my dog started freaking out... he hid under my bed, and was staring at me... wiered...

The thing thats more creepy in each of these mini games is the fact that you get slower the more the end is near, and the screen is in 480p
1:23 this scene scarys me until this day, the tears going down more and more... i can imagine how the REAL scene looked like, the kid just crying with despair for her life.

The kid at the bottom of foxy's game looks like it sad , I'm wondering if the lines are just messing it up
I think he is sad. My theory is that the Golden Freddy child followed the 4 children into the cake room but only went for the animatronic, not the party. He probably wasn’t invited, he was just a straggler in the room who just wanted to meet Golden Freddy.

After 8 years i thought it was just random robotic noises ...
Timeline
1.) Before anything there was the original Freddy's pizzeria/land/whatever. The animatronics were normal, they didn't roam around at night and ect.
2.) One day Freddy was serving food to some kids but it seems that he missed one of them. That kid ran outside of the pizzeria and started to cry and cry which attracted a purple car. Out of the purple car came the purple man and he murdered that child outside and left. (Based on 1 of the mini games)
3.) As soon as people found out they noted it in the history of the pizzeria.
4.) Freddy's pizzeria obtained the marionette in which that same boy who died possessed the puppet. Which is why the crying boy and the puppet have a similar faces.
5.) The new pizzeria is created and I THINK (THINK) the purple man signs up for the day shift. (No one thinks he is the murderer) The marionette suspects he is the murderer and possesses the other animatronics. Then they start to roam around at night and stuff. The reason for possessing them is all in attempt to try and kill the purple man.(Revenge)
6.) The phone guy and the managers start to notice the animatronics funny behavior and scrap all four of the animatronics.
7.) The new animatronics appear and the marionette possesses them too.
8.) This is where you come in. The night guard... You sign up for the paycheck. (Money) You take the night shift and watch the animatronics for five nights.
9.) On the sixth day. During the day shift, the purple man takes the extra costume in the back (Golden Freddy Costume) and leads five children into the empty room and murders them.
10.) Purple guy escapes and the only one who sees him escape is foxy.
11.) Everyone else soon enough finds out and they close down the restaurant. While everyone left and waited for the police to show up the marionette puts all these dead children in the 4 withered costumes all to try and "save them". Save their ghosts/spirits I'm guessing. (Mini game)
12.) Cops couldn't find bodies yet for some reason they reported and odd stench and blood coming out of the 4 old animatronics.
13.) Place is closed down but the night guard comes in not knowing that the place is closed down. Phone guy calls him and tells him everything. I'm guessing after hearing the story from the phone guy I bet that this guy was scared out of his mind leading him to hallucinate on the golden Freddy costume used to murder the children.
14.) At this point all the animatronics are on the hunt for the killer and they obviously suspect you being that murderer. The phone guy is also a suspect on their list. ( So technically they aren't the bad guys here)
15.) You make it through the night get your pay and abandon the place.
16.) The next day they scraped the new animatronics and used the old ones. Bite of 87 happens. Idk if it was caused by The Mangle or Foxy all in an attempt to shut the restaurant down to prevent any further death of children. (The child survives the bite)
17.)Place is shut down for a couple of years.
18.)couple of years later the pizzeria is opened back up. The old animatronics are used and they still are haunted by the marionette and the dead children. They are still in Search of the killer.
19.) The new night guard and the phone guy is still suspected by the animatronics.
20.) Survive all nights and earn the paycheck. Phone guy dies though. They must've realized he was innocent so they ended up still trying to go for you.
21.) Thats all I got.....
Lol XD if u read all this. Anything I did wrong PLZ fix... But hey it's just a theory. A game theory!!!!
That almost checks, but I have a few problems with it.
10. Foxy likely didn't see Purple Guy. According to the newspapers in FNAF1 he was caught soon after using the security cameras. Not saying any of the animatronics didn't see him, maybe Mangle or some other animatronic saw him.
16. It's debatable, sure, but my money is on the night guard getting bit. According to the phone guy, they have no problems with children, but they are acting "almost aggressive towards the staff", so it's VERY likely the day guard, you, got bit after night 6. Not a child. And I find it likely that it was Mangle who bit you because the old animatronics are inactive during the day, they do not have the ability to walk during the day, and Mangle bites you if he gets you in the office.
Other than those two, everything seems to check out!

not sure if its wrong but I see an inconsistency. The purple man lured 5 children into the back and murdered them, but there were only 4 old animatronics. If the original child possessed the Marionette and 4 of the murdered children take the place of the original characters, what happened to the 5th child? It would only make sense that the 5th child is actually Golden Freddy.
Also if the purple man was the day time security guard how would he have managed to sneak off, slip on the Golden Freddy suit, lure the kids to the back, kill them and escape all before someone else noticing him not being at his post? Also if your going to say he might have been the only one there you need to ask yourself why he would have needed the suit in the first place then. Besides if you think about it the phone guy is the day guard when you start working there and he was going to end up taking your night shift after a while. I suppose that he could have been the night guard before you that complained about the animatronics trying to get into the office. This would explain why they only became active at night, why the phone guy ended up dying after he became a night guard and the like.
It turns out that the fifth child is Golden Freddy but no one knows why he was so important.
And I'm also stuck on the killer situation even after Game Theories fnaf2 video.

Five nights at Freddy's 2 has to be the creepiest game in the whole franchise and one of the most horrifying games ever made.

@@nbadude1408 Gameplay-wise because unlike the next games to follow which consists of strategies or patterns, fnaf 1 is purely based on chance. But lore wise I think fnaf 2 is the creepiest because it revealed a lot about the animatronics and expanded the dark lore

3 is the scariest, as it's the first game to see a dead corpse in one of the sections of the game.
Btw Freddy says "SAVE HIM" and the puppet is actually saying "HELP THEM"
The mini games in 2 honestly for me, just give me that beaten up low budget '80s Atari video game feel.
Lore wise, it's fits effectively to tell the story, and *show* just how low budget the arcade games are in the restaurant. (With the CRT scan lines and the lack of any backlight).
And besides, the way you just suddenly lose control of a character as something bad happens on screen (crying child being shot), just creeps me out.
Although I kinda hate the static noise, it kinda gets annoying after a while lmao.

right before the Golden Freddy jumpscare on the give gifts minigame, set the speed to 0.25x and you'll see a 5th thing in the middle (this version got cut off idk but watch a playthrough of that minigame and you'll see them) representing Cassidy
SPOILER ALERT!!!:
Aside from just the minigame speeches that spells out the words, notice how the second death minigame shows a car pulling up, kidnapping/killing the child, and going away. The film references that minigame when Mike had that bad memory of his dead brother being taken by Afton's car.

I came back because I was reading the old, "Dante's Night at Freddy's" stories I wrote forever ago and got to the scenes where I was making fun of these scenes. But honestly, they're probably the most effective of the 8 bit visuals Scott ever did. And since I always kinda found the jumpscares in 2 lame compared to one, they're one of the scariest parts of that game to me at this point.

That kid crying is the same kid from the bite of 87. Cause they did say the the kid lived, but never said when he woke up.
But in the 4th game if you really read into it you will see that that kid saw one of the murders. It's why he doesn't like to go inside and the purple man knew the kid saw him and killed him when he had the chance.

You know, I sometimes forget that FNAF is a series of HORROR games.
Honestly they would be an awesome games for the Atari 2600.

if you watch the video that says take cake to the children a car pulls up, after the car pulls up a man gets out and the thing that is crying on the outside changes into the marionette maybe there's something darker going on like some sort of demonic possession or something

In Fnaf 2 the drawings on the wall is a picture of kids tearing mangle apart.. In the room in Fnaf 4 there is a destroyed mangle, then there's the minigame where green shirt guy is trying to dismantle you as Mangle.. What is this significance?
it is comfirmed that puppet was supposed to be the crying child. In the audio of the 2nd minigame you can hear save him being spelled in a deep voice while being edited in a retro style voice and notice when purple guy killed charlie? She was crying which is pretty similar to crying child and the stripes on the puppet's wrists which leads me to believe that crying child was supposed to posses the puppet

Minigames have a chance of appearing instead of the game over screen when you lose, I believe this is the only way to unlock them, but I'm not sure.
Withered freddy and withered foxy we're built to walk around! You probably didn't know that but those two were indeed built to walks around. thats why they both have different endoskeletons then the rest of the fnaf 2 crew

I think the freddy following puppet minigame is when purple guy dismantles freddy so if yall dont trust me(i understand the fnaf 2(toy) animatronics are on stage) So yesterday i got this minigame cuz i was afk i followed the puppet i didnt stop and then there was purple guy he was approaching freddy meaning he was ready to dismantle him
