You mean watching Lopez taking a beating? It wasn’t even a competitive fight, it was a shellacking. That fight was the beginning of the end of Lopez‘s career. I watch the fight recently and it was more disturbing than I remembered.
@@KHayes666 Yeah that’s more like it. Rueben Castillo gave a good go of it too but in the end Sal’s power was too much for Castillo. If you watch that fight when he was doing well when he was moving but then when he slow down is when he got in trouble.
They say Lopez was a slow starter but in reality it was his opponents getting tired as hell punching him in the face so many times then they ran out of gas and Lopez with his heavy hands good ended things. I can’t believe how often he was hit clean on the chin and just made no adjustments fight to fight with that left hands down by his chest. You could see his punches coming from a mile away to again once these guys got tired they couldn’t move.
