  • The trip starts at Brevika in Isfjorden and continues along RV64 to Åfarnes, where we take the ferry across Langfjorden to Sølsnes. From there we drive across the Skåla peninsula, until we reach Bolsøya via the Bolsøy bridge. To cross Fannefjorden to reach Årø in Molde, we take the subsea tunnel.
The trip continues along E39 , eastbound via Hjelset and Batnfjordsøra where we continue across the Gjemnessund bridge to Bergsøya, where we leave E39 and continue on road 70. We cross Freifjorden using another subsea tunnel, which takes us to Flatsetøya and then across a bridge to the island of Frei, just south of Kristiansund. Further on, we cross another bridge to Rensvikholmen and then a few minutes later we cross Omsundbrua that takes us to the island of Nordandet. To get to the centre of Kristiansund we have to cross a final bridge across Nordsundet. First we reach Gomalandet and then to Kirkelandet, which is two areas mainly divided by the Vågen fjord.
On the return trip, we take a different route, along RV64. We start out driving along Vågen to a roundabout where we select RV64 which directly leads to the subsea tunnel Atlanterhavstunneln. This tunnel takes us to Averøya where the trip continues to Kårvåg, where the eastern point of Atlanterhavsveien starts. We then continue back to Molde via Eide.
