Make sure you've done this step at 4:43 , This will make your character have that transparent background & not those trees and hills you may be seeing by using that HDRI file, hope that helped :)
Whenever I open the .blend file nothing appears on the render. I also noticed when I open it the bar at the top where it says File, Edit, Render, etc. and all those buttons disappears. What do I do?

When I download it it is only a file folder how do I open the app up
Extract it then a file will appear then open the file and scroll down untill you see blender :D
