LOVE how you hid those tracks & can flip it over. I've never seen this method before. BEST tutorial for versatility. Gonna try this on my very first wig made myself. Just waiting on the rest of my supplies..lol GREAT JOB!!

I been giving up on uparts as i feel they are limited but maybe i was doing it the wrong way, i never tried to sew it around in the front the way you showed in the start of the video, i will def try that! You did a great job! Best tutorial I've seen thus far. I have two questions though (anyone can answer). After you got through sewing the tracks around the perimeter is there a reason that you started the second track in the middle versus doing it from "ear to ear" and also at 5:25 did you cut the weft of there or did you flip it over and start a new track next to it. Hope someone replies, thanks ❤

Very neat and beautiful work, I’m a bit confused however because on the mannequin head it appears that it is a side part but once you put it on it is a middle part. Was it just tilted on the mannequin or do you have 2 parts?
I did this step by step in attempt to make my first wig. I failed horribly. And it took me so long. I’m super hurt :(
Take it as a learning lesson we all fail before we perfect anything it took me many times before I perfected it so brish it off and try again

what exactly went wrong? is it too big? or too small?
So I think it’s too big. Matter of fact I know it is. I called myself taping a ceramic mannequin head to my head size, but I think it should have been 22’’ instead of 23’’. Then once I added clips and put it on, it wasn’t smooth, it was kinda wavy looking/ feeling. It just wasn’t flat. And the more I sewed the less flat it was (like how you demonstrated when you kept pulling it back like a ponytail)

great tutorial but what I don't understand is why at the beginning after sewing around the perimeter , you start start sewing in the middle then go outwards from that ?

I used this method and even though my wig is gorgeous and the tracks lay perfectly flat after I cut the cap the wigs way too big. Can anyone explain where I went wrong and how I can fix this?

Did you use all 4 bundles? And if you only have 3 bundles would you recommend doubling the hair for sewing it around (first step) ?

Thx so much for sharing where to get a professional wig head i have asked others and never gotten a response, also me making wigs on a styrofoam head have been unsuccessful as well. That dome cap made me lose hair at the front of my hairline because it was too tight, i didnt see the wefts i glued them on the cap.

Why at the beginning when you began to sow after that first line from ear to ear did you begin right in the middle rather than back the temples? I'm assuming you were avoiding cutting the weft was it?

that I dont run out of space to early on the cap ...so if u start where I did each track will take up an even amount of cap space, if that makes sense lol

Hello..I have the same wig block but when I finish my wig my cap is not laying flat to my head so I have to go in and sew the cap together in the inside so that it will fit.. and I see that you went past your white lines that you had marked is that okay
