That turned out great! Polishing the shaft with the paste is a great idea. I’m going to try integrating it into my motor servicing process going forward.
I have a very similar model except it is branded Windsor. The model I have has push buttons for the speeds and also has a thermostat. I found it on marketplace last year for $3 from a lady who was moving. It needed a bit of work but was well cared for so after oiling the motor and a quick cleanup, it works great. Great video and I was happy to see another similar model to the one that I have and some tips and tricks to service my fan when I need to use it again in the spring.
I'm not sure if they all had it, but the two K-223's I have both have plastic wrapped switches. As far as working on fans go these Lakewood fans are probably my favorite, they're usually pretty straightforward.
You should put some dishwashing soap in the tub at the beginning since a dishwasher, usually the first cycle is a rinse cycle with no soap. If you add soap into the tub as well as the soap dispenser at the start, you would get two wash cycles. Just a thought..

I highly recommend it, the results are well worth the additional step.
This is probably the most you posted in one day!
I don't understand, I posted the same number of videos today that I always do.
@JordanU oh then I must not have noticed that

That's an excellent fan. Cool startup sound.
I have this fan it works really well I somehow got it in immaculate shape and cleaned it up well
I was contemplating on buying a Vernado desk fan vintage or a dominion box fan hard decision. I tell you.
Good cleaning and servicing video of this Lakewood box fan I'm glad this box fan runs better and Fantastic not bad at all bro
In my area, it's hard to find old box fans as well. I see tons of Lasko 3733 box fans that are new or only a few years old, on marketplace mostly.

There is TSP in the pre-wash section of the soap dispenser.
What do you usually prefer in box fans? Metal or plastic blades. Plastic tends to be easier to clean.
I like it
What kind of polish do you use for the shaft?
