Holy freaking crap, this guy has been uploading extremely high quality, extremely well made educational videos for a year... and only has 20k subs? What the hell is wrong with this platform??
Hey Aadam, thanks for the support! We're taking it easy with the physics uploads at the moment as we work on some behind-the-scenes stuff. However, come September we'll be releasing the physics videos at a much faster rate so everything will be covered well before your exams :)
i was so stressed out because i did bad on a small physics test and they gave us gcse variant 2 paper to work out on this test... Tysm you prevented me from giving up on physics!
I was just wondering is there a schedule that the last video is meant to be up by? I’m in yr 10 atm and was wondering if it will be done before my GCSEs.
Thank you so much I already watched this video about 2 months ago I literally forgot everything from it but now when tomorrow is my exam I watched it again it helped me a lot thank you so much COGINTO❤ 🙏🏻 guys I hope for you guys and myself to get grade 9/7 in our exams pray for me ❤
Very good video except that Gravitational Potential Energy is not a property of the object, this is a very common misconception held by teachers and hence by students. It is hence not correct to say that the object has a GPE of xxxJ, it is the Earth and Object system that the energy is transferred to when work is done by raising the object up in a gravitational field. In short the the energy is transferred to the system not the object.
I mean i love your videos but i would like to point out that ‘gravitation’ is the force of attraction between any two bodies of the universe. Whereas ‘gravity’ is the attraction between earth and its objects. So basically ‘gravity’ is what earths gravitational force is called. I see students getting confused alot about these so i tried to explain in the best way I could. Feel free to look it up. Have a nice day😊
@Everywhere Physics hey im actually in 10th grade and our textbook said and i also checked it out in some other books from our library and found similar differences between the both so i said this.
Hello ! Remember me ? That biology test went smoothly ( too smoothly now that I think about it ) ! The results will come in August , do you why does it takes so long ? ? And now I am watching your videos because I am considering to join a class that will tech the whole physics curricula of secondary school in one year ( if that makes sense ) … By the way , I forgot to say . The way you explain things are so clear ! As an eleven year old that took the IGCSE biology test ( me ) , I literally saved thousands of pounds because of you ! ( IGCSE tutors want big bucks for their works ) , and I want to say . When tutors use two hours to talk about one topic , you only require one or two videos ! Thank you for everything ! Also , what app do you use to make these animations ?
@@dr.theory7900 they take long because they have to mark hundreds of thousands of papers all around the world lol, and not only that they have to proof check and proof read all papers again and again cuz IGCSE is a big deal and no mistakes can be taken, hopefully you get full marks!
Is the force of gravity the force of attraction between two objects? So why does the earth pulls us towards him but we don't pull the earth toward ourselfs?
Mass is how much thing is in the object. Weight is how heavy an object is. Weight can be changed depending on the Mass and Acceleration due to gravity. So the weight is dependent on Mass. Mass is processed through calculations to get the weight. Weight can be different based upon your location. While your mass will stay the same regardless of the location (however mass of a human or animal may change if they lose fat from body, this would lead to their weight also decreasing). Because Weight = Mass × Acceleration due to gravity (Gravitational Field Strength)
I mean to be honest, everyone in the comments is having their mocks or anything upper level and I am over here in 7th grade because my school is mad and burdening us up. Lol

Is that useful to know in GCSE/IGCSE, or is that something as high level as electricity and magnetism being the same thing under special relativity?

that apple gone to the moon😂
the vid was but in our school, the 'gravity' or using gravity to find an answer we use 10. As in gravity = 10N. keep up the good work
9.8 is the more specific one but 10 works too

Here for gravitational field strength we use 10 N/Kg.😞
That makes your calculations a little bit simpler!
wait so for earth the gravitational field strength is simply 9.8 right...
It can also be 10
Is the force of gravity the force of attraction between two objects? So why does the earth pulls us towards him but we don't pull the earth toward ourselfs?
Thanks
very good info
please give proper definitions for the terms like mass and weight fo=rom next time would be real useful
Because
Weight = Mass × Acceleration due to gravity (Gravitational Field Strength)

If it weren't for Cognito I'd probably fail my GCSES ngl
jusr a heads up, on the website on this topic, the first two questions are wrong
what's an intrinsic property?
The thing that's in the object and not dependent on the location. Like Mass is the thing in the object and it doesn't change because of the location.

We have to round of to the nearest whole number either way so it should be fine.
