I think i overfilled mine causing brake caliper locked up my front right. I removed some fluid to below MAX line and it is still locked up. Is the MC gone?
What happens when it's on the cap when the rotors and pads are dead and they don't care about the level when they fit new ones which wants to raise the fluid ?
My newly replaced pads have locked up and overheated a few times since replacement. Right before I changed the pads my mechanic toppled off my fluid. Is it possible the added thickness of the new pads made my system over filled and that’s causing the over locking up/ over heating? They usually don’t lock up unless I drive for more then 30 minutes at a time
Yes that will definitely happen if you have to much brake fluid!
Cheers mate
Over filling of brake fluid will blow out master cylinder right?
What in gods name are you talking about?
@@justarandomguy3969 all you need to do is look at the comment and read it again . Over filling the the master cylinder with brake fluid. Will blow out your master cylinder seals and shit. Over filling bad. Good night.
@@mick5740 definetly not, the normal operating pressure of the master cylinder is much higher than the added pressure from overfilling, it will not damage your master cylinder
@@justarandomguy3969 the brake fluid heats up and expands when brakes are used. Overfilling will leave not enough room for expansion. It’s blows seals and ruins master cylinders iv seen it several times Get real Plenty of brake experts explain this. Take care. By by now
@@mick5740 did you mean bye bye?
