Peter Petrelli, portrayed by Milo Ventimiglia, is a fictional superhero on the NBC superhero drama series Heroes. The character is a hospice nurse-turned-paramedic in his mid-20s with the power to absorb and mimic the powers of other people with special abilities, or powers. Sensitive and compassionate, the character was initially defined by his complex relationship with his older brother, Nathan. He’s literally my favorite tv character ever. He was a well written character with actually a good personality. I wish they didn’t let him lose his abilities, he deserved more screen time than any other character, especially more than Sylar. He was a lot interesting than Sylar yet he is so underrated.

The way that peter has almost all powers of every hero by being close to them and after that just thinking about that person to get the power is very cool written. I think up to season 2 that everything from season 1 to 2 was my favourite

First season of this show was goated. still have the dvd set of the first 2.
I always identified with Peter because I went to nursing school, not knowing who I was, what I was meant to do, and constantly absorbing people's energies and not knowing how to manage it all. Then with a lot of practice (mostly meditation and a lot of mindfulness regarding the consequences of my actions on others and myself) I was able to find myself and move in flow with other people rather than be dominated by their energy.
Exactly bro Peter was definitely an empath so the whole absorbing power ability was a metaphor for being sensitive to the energies of those around you to the point you could almost place yourself in their shoes to be honest everyone's powers were really metaphors Hiro could manipulate time because he felt like he was wasting his life in an office cubicle Claire could heal because she was trying to heal from the emotional void of not knowing her true parents and the list goes on from there this show is very spiritual and esoteric for those who can see
Why is Milo so good in acting? Such an amazing guy. Brilliant!

and most importantly jamie madrox,
this guy can become an instant limitless army of superminded supersoldier supermen, he can singlehandedly wipe out thanos' black order army PLUS the chitauri army just as a million copies of himself.
then maybe he can drop by the equivalent of the terminator universe & tell his body volume's worth of mimetic polyalloy,
"will you be my friend?"
such a guy can go back home & build a dyson sphere around their sun, elevate his homeworld to civilization level 2 on the kardashev scale.

This series was so dang good in the beginning! Season 3 went downhill 😢 It had such potential and to be bigger than “LOST”! Such a shame but I always rewatch season 1 and some of season 2 😂

Idk why we never got more Peter vs Sylar. Especially future Peter vs future Sylar. They had so many awesome abilities. Could’ve had so many epic fights, instead we got some flashes of electricity and fire while the camera panned away from them.

Can superpowers really be gained as a result of solar eclipses? I want to have strong and unique abilities that are different from anyone else in the world. To be someone different, to be someone special. Empathic mimicry and superpower absorption are also my favorite powers.

This show was amazing I didn't like what they did to Peter they gave an OP ability and in season 3 they took his ability away and gave him a weaker version of his first ability and his no match for Sylar now. And they did the same thing to Hiro. Does Hiro still have his abilities now.

Peter is awesome and horrible all at once and Claire is the worst. HRG should have taught Claire how to fight and spy.
Claire is a great character. In addition, in the fourth season it is seen that he is able to defend himself on his own.
