Great video, I have all the same Lock and Access Control System. And I had all the same problems, as I could not program it by their own instructions, and I could not read the tiny instructions. Thanks so much this has been a great help.
We are using a system like this for a science fair project. How do you get power to it without hardwiring in? We won’t actually be installing it anywhere, just using it for the experiment. How is it being powered for your video?
Hmmmm. So can you change that programming "master code"? Because as presented anyone can just type #999999#1 and program an RFID key fob/card, then use that to freely open the door!
you can make this a lot more secure by adding a wiegand access controller to this, it will interface with the keypad, now if people want in they'd have to have (or steal) credentials
Hello there I need some help I have the same power supply and mag lock that's in the video I'm installation it on my gate the drive way is about 100 feet long from the house when ever I try to ring the door bell from the gate it doesn't ring and the mag locking force is weak the wire am using is CAT 5 and the power supply is in the living 5AMP power supply am using!
It's cool, but imo it was safer if the keycode box was mounted in wall and wiring was accessible only from the other side (inside the office), so that you couldn't break the keycode loose and rewire it - you would have to then break down the wall itself, but at that point you'd just break down the doors instead. Meanwhile, from inside, you could just open up a metal panel mounted in wall and get access to the wiring
So what's up with the power? It's just two red wires..nothing sets them apart to know what's hot and neutral..I just hooked it up the way you said but I get a blinking light on the power supply
When i connect my magnetic lock to mine, it just beeps and the keypad is unresponsive. The moment i unplug it is fine. I cant see that there is a short circuit. I get a good 12v output when the lock is armed so i cant see why connecting a magnetic lock makes it faulty. Any ideas?

Maybe I have a different instructional book, mine says to open the back of the machine shell, (I'm assuming that means the transmitter? ) and then connect to the power supply...I don't see how this thing connects to the power supply..everything else is going great though. I bought it for my camper lol. A little tricky with the door. So anyway, maybe I'm interpreting it wrong.
Bro, can you just lay it out for me pls? I've had the unit apart, the transmitter apart, I don't see where I can connect anything to it...can you just write a brief step by step? I'd really appreciate it if you could do that, if you can afford the time to do so..thank you in advance

i know this is an old video but just to let you know if some one uses a screw driver to take the screw off the bottom of the keypad they can just join the common and normally open wire together and the door will unlock for them

Alex Marin yes
Does anywhere tell you how to change the master code?
nice job. does the door stay locked if the power goes out?
no, it would be the opposite, if the magnet looses power, the door is open
Very helpful. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Great job .... thanks

Will the security door be compromised if the key pad got vandalized ?
yes, you can open this system by shorting 2 wires on the keypad together

Is there a way to wire it so you don't need the keypad? I am looking for a solution with a pushbutton enter/pushbutton exit. Thanks!
How do I reset it during a power outrage
is it possible to connect two RFID Readers in parallel?

Hello.
To connect a rfid reader to a mag lock? What do I need?
A power supply and a the reader connected to the mag lock? Or is there something else?
The rfid receiver is needed, Mine is built in the keypad outside.
May I ask how many locks can the controller handle at the time and how many lock can the power supply handle at the same time?
Different kits will vary, All I can tell you is this kit I worked on is a single door not designed to be linked with an external unit.
Is it possible to connect two rfid readers in parallel? ( for magnetic lock)
I see no reason why not

So, if there's a power outage, will it still work?
I don't think so...
How it is called? And how much is it? Question if the power goes off. Does it work? If i destroy the keyboard can i unlock it?
In case of a power outage it remains open cause it needs power to electrify the magnet.
looks like a good product can you give me the name of manufacturer
where i can get the key chain remote and the remote is programmed to the keypad or to the power supply
