    Christian, that is one of the best Lightroom tutorials and examples on selective adjustments I've seen using the latest tools in LR. Well done 👏🏻

    Great tutorial Christian. It just goes to demonstrate how an already great-looking image can be improved upon. Really enjoyed this one 👌

    I don’t save many of these for future reference but this one is top of the list. I really love the effect on the trees. Thanks for doing this

    Good tutorial!
    But I find the final image over processed (for my personal taste).

      Thanks for the comment! I can understand that, not everyone likes those well saturated photos

    Christian, thank you for your wonderful presentation of the selective exposure. In the previous project, which is ,” 6 creative effects you can do in Lightroom “, considering the 3rd effect of “Glow,”, I am wondering whether is it , to some extent, similar to today ‘s selective exposure method .

    • @ThePhlogPhotography
      @ThePhlogPhotography 8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you so much for the comment! By adding this glow effect we are in some way altering the exposure or brightness of a particular area, so to some extend this is kind of the same, yes :-)

    Maybe I will be only one but I do not agree, newbie’s tend to overprocess the image, the more experienced tried often to keep the image more natural.

      It just depends on what style you're aiming for. The photographers I follow (Ryan Dyar, Marc Adamus, Albert Dros and so on) are certainly more on the editing heavy side

      Hey I never used Lightroom on the tablet, so i cant give a certain answer, but i thin LR mobile wont have this feature

    Would be nice if this file didn't seem to be lightroom specific. (nothing I have seems to want to even view it. adobe DNG can't even convert it.)

    • @ThePhlogPhotography
      @ThePhlogPhotography 8 месяцев назад +1

      This is not a LR specific file, you should be able to open it in Photoshop as well (dont know about other raw editors since its a merged HDR)

      @@ThePhlogPhotography Thanks, Christian, but maybe I should have said "adobe LR/PS" specific. Not owning LR/PS, I've found nothing that opens it to try similar edits in other programs. Perhaps a TIFF file would have been OK, but the linked file seems to be really picky. Thanks anyways, and thanks for your videos!
