Illinois just made Michigan look like the practice squad, then Oregon made Illinois look like the local middle school team. Im not scared of Michigan. I have full belief in Lanning and this Ducks team. I’ll always hate Michigan for being cheaters and the plethora of other scandals they’ve swept under the rug over the years. I hope Oregon embarrasses them so bad that half the stadium is empty by the 4th quarter.
It's sure tempting to think that way but two things stand out: 1) Illinois had Michigan in their home field, Michigan will have Oregon in theirs. 2) Oregon had Illinois here. If you don't think that makes a difference I would beg to differ. Using your analysis, Oregon should win by how many, 30 pts? 40? The line is 14.5. Why? Matchups, home field, 3-time zones and X factors (that can be darn near anything). 34-21 O is my wild guess. GO DUCKS
"Illinois just made Michigan look like the practice squad." -MashaRistova The offense, maybe, but not the defense. That Wolverine D has the personnel to ugly it up against the Oregon offense, and I expect them to come out hot. Plus, they're way better at home than on the road. Don't be surprised if Oregon has a hard time sustaining drives in the first half.
When you couldn't beat Washington we did it without the cheating. You're entitled to your opinion and we did cheat but if your team went through the same thing we did you'd do the same thing as ducks fans and don't think that you're as high and mighty as you think. But I hope the ducks win the Natty and bring it home for the Big ten and so happy to watch the hairless nuts fall over. Go Blue.
The “beating Ohio St by more than 1” is not what the tiebreaker is. It’s based on the best cumulative conference winning percentage of all conference opponents. Still confusing
Margin of victory is not a part of the B1G tie breaker formula. If all three are undefeated, it would be decided by winning percentage of conference opponents. The team with the lowest opponent percentage would be eliminated.
Podcast question..Should we really be rooting for Ohio State? I get the logic.. but I don't wanna see Ohio State again.. we should be rooting for something more specific for Penn State to take Ohio State out and then Ohio State to beat Indiana.. I want Dan to get the big ten infinity stones.. Ohio State Michigan Wisconsin and Penn State in the championship game all in year one.
The question we should be asking is will Michigan be able to run the ball on us? Our run defense has been solid but I’d say the strength of the defense is the pass defense. If we play like we did last week we should be fine
Everyone, let's review: What is one thing that is different for Michigan this season than last season?? Answer: This season the coaching staff and the players do not know what their opponents will run on Defense and Offense before the play. That means that the coaches have to resort to actually coaching their players and the players have to practice harder so that they can be prepared to compete. I know! I know! It's hard.
Let's not forget that Oregon has another formidable weapon, named Traeshon Holden. He has not been playing much because of the poor choice he made versus tOSU, but he is due for a big game.
22:30 "I don't think anything outside of a blowout can help Oregon in this spot. Only bad things can happen for the Ducks this weekend." -Jonathan Zaslow Nonsense! Utter tripe. First of all, a win of any kind over Michigan does indeed help the Ducks, even if it's an ugly one and teams like Georgia, Penn State, and Miami play lights out. As long as Oregon wins and maintains a normal injury factor, who cares if they get jumped in the rankings? It's only Week 10. Second, Oregon needs quality opponents like Michigan-excellent defensively, tough and hard-nosed, proud and confident, talented and hungry-in order to hone their craft and develop their championship mettle. They will find adversity in this game. I can feel it coming. The Wolverines are absolutely going to cut it loose, all nothing-to-lose. The 107,000 fans in attendance will help ensure Lanning and Co. get properly tested to open up the November slate. Many good things can happen for the Ducks this weekend ... beginning with winning.
Still a ton of ball to be played and we have UW for our last game. Have to stay focused.

@@MashaRistova Michigan also stopped UW from winning a Natty. So they can do no wrong in my eyes 😅

B1G goes to analytics system as #5 compared to SEC who does margin of victory
Not sure how those analytics work exactly

Want them to beat Penn St first. Then go from there--will discuss next week
Spencer makes a great point about Derrick Harmon. He feels about Michigan, similarly to how many of his teammates feel about the Huskies.
GO DUCKS 🦆🦆🦆🦆
Beat the wolverines
🏈🏈🏈🏈
If the top ranked teams win out and don't get a first round buy they should play at home thru the playoffs

Love spencer in a good way my fav at sportcasts ❤
:)
Let's hope Harmon hits until the whistle not after the whistle.
Let's Go Ducks!
Wait, conference opponent records is higher on the list than common opponent points differentials. Right?
Yes I believe so, but common opponents could be the same I think. Idk I really haven't thought about it a ton before tOSU plays Penn St
GO DUCKS

B10 fans are big mad that Oregon reigns supreme in their first year of conference play lol
Hahaha you are a Big 10 fan lol. Literally in 5 years nobody will talk like this anymore. Same thing when Penn State joined.
Very very good defense can be slower than mud?
Biggest matchup either Will Johnson vs Tez or Johnson v E stew
Do we know if Will is going to be available?
@ I just researched an article about it ans its a possibility he wont. I didn’t realize he had an injury
@@dashien2605 I am an Oregon fan and that is a shame. I wanted to see him line up against our guys. Fingers crossed we see him and he can compete.
Johnson will NOT play for rest of year-He is great bur injury prone every year

Remember this truth: DISRESPECT AND PLAY DOWN TO YOUR OPPONENT AT YOUR PERIL!
Also #5 not bad as same number games if not in 'ship game

Not gonna cover if u win! Go Blue!
You want Ohio State to go 1-1 or 2-0 against Penn State and Indiana
First we want tOSU to beat Penn St
@ why’s that? Just out of curiosity?
BABE WAKE UP OUR BEST REPORTER SPENCER MCLAUGHLIN JUST POSTED
The kids are so obsequious these days.
HI THERE
Is Will Johnson playing this week?
Unclear
i don’t think oregon looses against penn st or indiana
is will johnson even gonna play in this game??
Spencer, need to review tiebreakers closer at point difference not it
Wait for tOSU vs Penn St to play out, focus on Michigan
What if the ducks win 62-17?
That would be good.
⚡️🪄 🧙♀️
Ducks with 2 interceptions
Why is he screaming?
Nice zoom call 😂
