  • Rebel Wilson, who has been open about her weight loss over the years, says people don’t actually need as many calories as they believe.
“I was just actually in a program where I learned about food, and they taught us that you don’t really need as many calories as you think,” the “Pitch Perfect” star told the Daily Mail Thursday at a launch party for her Fluid dating app, which Casamigos hosted at Funke in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Wilson, 43, explained she recently went on a week-long retreat at Vivamayr medical spa in Austria where she learned “you really only need about 600 calories a day,” as opposed to “1,500 or 2,000.”
While the actress admitted the idea “might sound crazy” to some, she believes “your body doesn’t need a lot of calories,” especially when trying to detox.

This is very dangerous advice she’s giving everyone! An average human needs a minimum of 1200-1500 calories a day. If you take in too little for a while your body goes into starvation mode and will hold on to every calorie. Thus either gaining weight or staying the exact same weight even if your exercising. As well your not getting enough vitamins & nutrients for your body and it will effect your hair, nails and especially your skin. I really wish people would stop taking health advice from people who aren’t medically trained or at least a nutritionist. Famous people aren’t doctors or experts in health and nutrition so please stop listening to their crazy advice before you ruin your health.

You guys are delusional. Losing weight by limiting food intake works just fine, its not big deal stop coping.
The one truth you said was about providing the body with a lot of micronutrients. Eat oysters. Eat egg yolk. Eat liver. Have a tiny sip of juice. That way all micronutrients are being accounted for without intake of large amounts of macronutrients

Is that what she took? It's so weird to me, because I had never heard about Ozempic at all, but now that's all I'm hearing about. I'm on the fence with whether I should try it out or not. Oh well I either will or I won't.¯\_(ツ)_/¯💯😎💯🤡💯👻💯🤥💯🤖💯💩💯🤢💯😸💯👺💯👾💯🙈🙉🙊¿??????????????¿

@@jenniferkerger3561 she doesn’t admit it if she did. People who aren’t obese or have type 2 diabetes shouldn’t be taking it period. If someone doesn’t have a BMI of 30 or over it’s not recommended either. Once you start this medication you have to take it for life or you gain all the weight plus more back. It’s also not been around very long(2017) and there’s no long term studies on humans especially ones who aren’t diabetic so it’s not know if it will affect a non-diabetics pancreas. It can cause an increase in gallstones which become to the point where one will need surgery. It’s not covered for most peoples insurance especially for off label use and depending on where you live the average cost is $1000+ a month. This craze has caused a world wide shortage and people who actually need this to live are going months with out their medication. There’s black market versions out there which have caused a lot of damage to people organs and lives so beware of this. It’s not magic you still have to eat well and exercise. A lot of patients can’t handle the side effects which can become crippling and don’t often improve unless one stops taking it.
