I can't say exactly why, but don't like the way the way that car looks in profile. If they were going to go against the grain and make a 2 door body style, they should have made sure the looks were spot-on. It kind of looks like they couldn't decide between a hatch and a trunk.

if i were to get a new charger it would have to be the gas powered ones , there are times when i really do need to go more then 300+ miles and when the temps are some times -40 which is unfortunately too common up in my area a ev just wont do

They had to go and make it an EV. They made a beautiful car design and then decided against putting an engine in it,I'm baffled and frankly a little pissed.

It would've been better for them to make a new dohc 32 valve 4.7 V8 that gets over 25 mpg and for the ev to just enhance the ev motor sound instead of a fake V8 noise. $60k for a Dodge is ridiculous.
It would be cool if Dodge could make this Charger Daytona sound like that car in the movie "The Wraith".

The only thing I like about this Charger is the body style is going back to a 2-door coupe like the second gen '68-'70 design. But $74,000 starting price and it's an EV with no Hemi V8 option? No thank you!!

$54k for the regular model is a godsend to people who just want a stylish ev with 2 doors...seems to me that dodge finally made a decent car for the masses..
Awfuel! A charger now needs charging and a speaker to make it sound like it's dad. There is something sacred about being of grid and sounding / feeling real.
It's the automotive version of a plant based burger or putting a baseball card in the spokes of your pedal bike, it's a joke!
The least they could've done was make it a hybrid. Like I feel like Stellantis really missed the mark on the Charger name, essentially with enthusiasts. If they really cared about the loyal fan base and electrifying the car, they would've gradually transitioned the Charger. At least offer an ICE or hybrid
