as a chinese person i can tell you their korean pronunciations are not "bad" bad, it's their accent from Sichuan province that brings in a hot and spicy kick

I agree, considering that they're foreign trainees who probably don't have much experience, this performance wasn't as bad as people make it out to be (I feel like most people just saw the start and not the whole thing, the performance got a lot better in the second half imo). Hopefully they can improve and debut in the future
The mix was honestly funny.... Singing was ok. But they needed to work on dance & setup more. It was memed because they performed before the original choreographer.
It’s not bad, but it’s off beat which is what makes it seem funny and disoriented. Edit: oh and guy with grey pants is quite underwhelming vocal-wise, but the black pants guy is stable. If grey pants’ vocals were half as strong as the black pants, it would’ve really seem like a solid performance despite being off beat.

@Wyshi language barrier can affect vocal performance as well as timing and rhythm. When it comes to singing in another language, it's about understanding the sounds that are being produced and effectively adjusting for them. If you aren't familiar, it can be tricky to get your mouth and tongue around certain vowels and words. Dipthongs especially are tricky and if you get stuck on them they can definitely mess with rhythm and make certain words more difficult to sing if you don't adjust for them.
If they make it to the final line-up this will be an iconic moments of Boys Planet.😂 Edit: Sadly both of them are eliminated in the first round of elimination.😔
The thing is that Yangjun the one that started can actually sing but suffers from stage fight or so because if you see him actually singing he is one of the best vocalist and i really hope he gets through the fear because his voice actually so beautiful But he can't dance but his voice is beautiful Atleast i hope when he does the evaluation he can show he can atleast sing because like if you seen his covers it's so beautiful

I agree because dancing and singing are both hard, but together?? especially regarding seventeen's choreo because it obviously requires alot of energy to do. The performance wasn't even that bad, sure during that period of time in the show there were a few trainees who probably got better scores or feedback, but for me this performance shows how hard they worked as well as trying their best cause obviously Boys Planet is VERY competitive and they have high expectations from the trainees. so I never understood a lot of the criticism in the show.

They sing and dance and even tho it’s far from perfect or even good they have basic support for both and show fighting spirit and enthusiasm, which is the one thing you can’t train to obtain. And they’re only trainees, some that haven’t even been signed to a label and never stood on a stage before, not to mention they were most likely incredibly nervous. At least they sang and danced live, which is more than you can say ab your idol who’s been in the game for several years.
