Here’s a story, I was about 7 when this ride had its sonic theming, and I visited Alton Towers with my Grandparents.
So you can imagine what my 7 year old mind was thinking when I saw the sonic branding. Bear in mind that I never normally go on rollercoasters because I usually get scared, but I hadn’t seen the actual coaster, so I got on and oh boy did I scream 😂
About 10 years later I’m going back to Alton Towers and I’m actually going to go on the big rides like Oblivion (not The Smiler tho, I’m not mentally and/or physically prepared for that yet)

If Sega signed a contract with Kings Island and built Sonic Spinball, the announcements would be said by a DIFFERENT Sonic character; here's a list of what each character would say:
Welcome: Sonic
Height: Tails
Loose belongings left at station: Knuckles
Safety: Amy
No food/drink/smoking: Sticks
Boarding instruction: Shadow
Photo info: Rouge
Ride start: Silver
Ride end: Blaze
Ride suspension (breakdown): Tikal
Reduced operation: Jet
Ride suspension (bad weather): Wave
Ride closure: Storm
Ride test: Mighty
Ride restart: Ray
The following would be heard throughout KI on their speakers:
KI opening message: Espio
Sonic Spinball closed for the day: Vector
KI closing message (heard at 60, 30, and 15 minutes prior): Charmy
KI closing message (heard at ten minutes prior and telling guests to head to the exits): Nack
KI closing message (heard at five minutes prior): Bean
KI closing message (heard AT closing time): Bark

GAME characters; no cartoon characters involved (with the exception of Sticks). Fang, Bean, and, Bark would have their own voices (Fang's being an Australian accent, Bean's being one that's faster than a human's, and Bark's getting a low-pitched voice (due to the scarf covering his mouth).

Good to see they incorprated different games though.
So the track list is
Rooftop Run at 0:00
Station Square at 3:50
Cant work it out from unleashed to 06 - 6:58
And then it loops back at 12:41

The music at 6:58 is Rooftop Run - Night version, my personal favourite song from the game other than Jungle Joyride - Day version

Both versions of the Rooftop Run music are from Sonic Unleashed; the Station Square music is from Sonic Adventure (and its GCN re-release Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut).

Lavender Rain the contract for Alton towers ran out so they rethemed the ride to avoid a lawsuit

Ring Collect, Spin Dash, Bounce Pad, Bumper Hit, and Screeching Stop are the sound effects; the music is from Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic '06 (NOTE: Sonic '06 was the game that was hated by almost every gamer in the world [especially in Great Britain]).
