The star represents the unity of all Ethiopian nationalities, its rays the bright prospects for their future. Blue is for peace, yellow for hope, justice, and equality. Red represents sacrifice for freedom and equality, while green is equated with labour, development, and fertility.
The star was put on the Ethiopian flag just by a command from the late PM Meles Zenawi. No Ethiopian was agreeing on it. Just the interest of that time politician and the meaning might be known by them only. All Ethiopians want to see a pure Green , Yellow and Red flag and identification either in their flag or all places including on each plane tails.

Paris-Anchorage-Tokyo-Seoul
Loooong trips.
Thanks for the review. I appreciate the fact that you were honest about your experiences.
Business class cabin is beautiful
Noel your reviews are just on point .. as a professional in travel reveiw.... I expect pure feel like im in your back pack detailed reveiws which you deliver week in week out .. outstandingly Great, I always feel the iv been abroad feeling after your videos ,Awsome job keep going dude
Ethiopian, Egypt Air, Biman> nice treatment crew, good food. Most western airlines more focus on punctuality (communication on delays) but bare service.
Cheers, Noel. I’m just seeing this one. A fun fact regarding Ethiopian was that they were famous in the 80’s for their swizzle sticks. They were nearly one foot long.
I absolutely loved this video, my favourite of yours so far, particularly liked when you flew over East Midlands and then Derby and Pride park was in full view 😍
Man the 787 looks amazing. I get to fly first class in a reverse seat in a few months. My outbound flight is economy but my return legs are all luxury 😎
really loved the music in this video
Your videos must help change points of view, on some not so well known Airlines. Well done, as I am sure these Airlines appreciate the good comments, when they earn them. It's easy to rubbish things you know very little, or nothing about. Big thumbs up to you Sir, for telling it as it is.
😊
In the lounge you didn't seem like you like Ethiopian food but you wanted on the plane?
Please fly on enter air, very small airline.
Always love to see the price breakdown! Keep up the great/fun work Noel
Awesome 👏 fantastic 👍🏻 it’s time to make a best of blue ray 👍🏻 100% incredible work again! I am very exited to more crazy trips!
I have been flying Ethiopian a few times.
Very efficient airline. I once had only 40 minutes between flights in Addis, but both I and my luggage got on the next plane. :O)
Great video. My suggestions for African airlines: Kenya Airways and Rwandair (into Kigali).
Nice to hear you enjoy flying Ethiopian.
I am a big Manchester United fan, I've a plan to come visit Manchester and watch a United game. I was hoping to see Oldtraford when fly down to Manchester 😅
I saw a big building with "RED" on it. But it isn't Oldtraford.
