In general men are very emotional and passionate it just takes the right approach to bring it out
I love this but the last one from Portugal and Argentina are outstanding.
You can tell that the SA team in 1995 didn't understand the national anthem since it was the new anthem at the time. God bless a united South Africa 🇿🇦🏉

I love the chants for nelson before the sa anthem, i met him in person because I was very close with is great granddaughter he was an amazing person and really loved his rugby, he really deserved all the praise he got.

Every single one of these Anthems are beautifully sung with emotion but that Portuguese is one of the anthems I could see myself singing with beer in hand and waving a flag and probably crying cause that was pretty good. Ps great to see the forwards put 100% into it

Argentina, Portugal and South Africa so impressive!
Using the 1995 RWC rendition of the South African anthem is a curious and unflattering choice. South Africa the new 'Rainbow Nation' was just forming and many traditional rugby supporters didn't yet know the words of the new, multi-lingual anthem. Hence most of the anthem being sounded by the choir. Watch the singing of the anthem during the 2019 RWC final for a more realistic assessment.
@Ian Thompson even so, the people weren't familiar with the song, a much more realistic rendition from 2010 onwards should have been used, specifically during the 2019 RWC

1st Wales
2nd Ireland (Ireland’s call)
3rd England

@@ulfibonkers3205 Coach Christie was a rugby man through and through. We also said goodbye to Ian McIntosh this past week who coached the Boks just before Mr. Christie and was then a selector for 10 yrs+. Life goes on hey....😥

It is an interesting, but of course subjective selection of powerful anthem's. To me however, the three most emotive national anthems,
are " God Defend New Zealand" tied 3rd with "Advance Australia Fair", 2nd France's stirring "Le Marsellais" and No.1 is undoubtably South Africa's "Nkosi Sikilele i Africa" with it's dramatic call for Unity.. ! And I am English by birth..!
As a South African was quite confused by this anthem...

los himnos deberían quedar fuera del deporte. Fue un invento de Coubertin, un trasnochado aristocrata, que en un momento en que los nacionalismo estaban en us apogeo encontró está manera de llevarlos al deporte.
