Old Settlers Park DGC - Round Rock, Tx. (18 Holes)

Whoa nelly! What a wonderful but challenging course!
You start off with 4 open holed areas, to get the ol' arm warmed up, (with a few more placed here and there along the way), then it turns into a relatively narrow and technical layout course from Hole 5 and on. As long as you can keep a fairly tight throw you'll keep yourself out of the traversing creek. (Nope not me. I lost a blue DX Leopard midway down Hole 11 in the creek, from a turned into "roller!" Oh well.) Anyway, the fairways are pretty clean and level with a few steep sections to keep you on your toes and balance. Ha! Ha!
Tee Pads are wonderful and have a good grip to them. They're plenty long and wide.
Signage is ok. Use your "UDisc App" as some of the yardages are incorrect and you may need help getting to next hole. JMO. Great course none-the-less!
