I played this with my family recently and had more than half the board, the most money, and most monopolies (Including boardwalk/Park Place). I ended up rolling doubles onto a hotel, no big deal, then I rolled doubles again onto taxes, then I rolled again, onto the other taxes, all in one turn. I lost because this luck stuck for the rest of the game.

HEYYYY!, you guys wanna hate your friends more then these board games? try pico park, a team development game with up to 8 players, with your group of friends it might actually take weeks maybe but defenitely days trying to do these levels. even exitting the level might be annoying with mechanics of the game. if you know the vanossgaming crew then you´ll know that they actually played it 2x, -while hating eachother after the sessions- .

First Roll: (1/2) or (3/6) because the speed die only has 1,2, and 3- not 4,5, or 6; so to get a triple, you need to first roll a 1,2, or 3.
Second Roll: (1/6) because you need to match the first roll.
Third Roll: (1/6) because you need to match the first roll assuming the second roll was matched.
(1/2)*(1/6)*(1/6)=~1.4%
Edit: I realize he was talking about getting doubles 3 times. That would be 0.46% but my math for three die rolls of the same number (including speed die) would be 1.4%. Ironically, it’s easier to get a triple than triple doubles even though one die only has half as many chances. If there was 3 die and one didnt have half, it would be 2.8% (2.777).

martial did do a good deal on jeromes greens trade, 1 its mortgaged, 2 hes paying half of what the greens equal too which when you value mortgaged properties you notice that its practically lower than half, cap has a good remark saying well its mortgaged because your GETTING MONEY from A USELESS PROPERTY. i dont know buitheness but i know that the AI has to still pay the mortaged property which makes it way worse still.
Pretty cool thing is combined at the end they have exactly 4800 dollars. Each player started with 2500 which proves ones thing: the winner is the bank

i wanna share a story of a time when my brother and i were playing monopoly. we were using the speed die and for anyone who may be reading this and doesnt fully understand how the speed die works, let me explain; the bus will allow you to choose whether to move the amount of spaces from one or both of the dice and the running man will have you move the amount you rolled and then take you to the next unowned property. if there are no unowned properties, it will take you to the next property not owned by you, not including mortgaged properties. so i owned the boardwalk/park place monopoly and had them fully upgraded. i then proceeded to mortgage all my other properties so that whenever my brother rolled the running man he had no choice but to be teleported immediately to the most expensive property in the board.... i dont think it needs to be said that i won that game

The odds of rolling triples is actually slightly higher than what Jerome says. Looking at the number of desired outcome divided by the number of possibilities, you actually have a 1 in 72 (or 1.38%) chance of rolling triples. Because 2 dice are normal 1-6 and the speed die is 1-3 with extra spots, you’re first die can be any number 1-3 and the rest have to be the same. So the math is actually (3/6) x (1/6) x (1/6) which comes out to 3/216 or 1/72. Now if you’re looking for a specific triple like you specifically want three 1s, the odds are 1/216.
