To say their first half of year flopped big time is absolutely wild Easy and smart both won a bunch of awards and if you wanna say coachella was bad I would say it could’ve been better but you send any other group to coachella with no production help and in the middle of the dessert and try and sing live and dance to choreo’s as hard as theirs for 40 minutes straight and the same thing would’ve happened to whatever group got picked so me personally I think they had an extremely strong year overall
+1. It was a flop if you watched coachella via reels. But if you actually watched the full performance with an open mind it was really good (edit: overall. there were indeed some parts with issues). The Great Mermaid was amazing, for example. LSF did learn a lot from that performance, though, as far as how to arrange their sets and to not require the current singer to necessarily do the full choreo, which did improve the quality of the vocals somewhat. But it's not like they didn't know how to sing before.

I watched their Coachella performance before the hate train started, and I honestly didn’t even notice the problem-except maybe towards the end, where the quality dipped slightly. But that’s totally understandable 😅. They were tired and had already given it their all earlier in the performance (give strong vocal and hard choreography). Honestly, I felt more proud than anything else. Unfortunately, some bad people took that opportunity to criticize them and spread hate. But look at them now-they’re the ones shining ! And despite the hate continued to gain fame.

But after watching it i was just... ??? that was it? That's what everyone was complaining about? I thought the reels were representative of their performance as a whole but really the only lackluster parts in a 40 min set could fit into that 20s reel
