  • Florida Baseball and Arkansas Baseball opened up a weekend series during the 2024 College Baseball Season.
    Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.
    If you’re looking for high quality sports content, then this is the channel for you! I’ve covered Baseball (NCAA, LLWS, MLB), Football (NCAA, NFL), Softball (NCAA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA), Hockey (NHL), and much more!
    The best part of my work as a RUclipsr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other RUclipsrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
    One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
    I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

    It's the players line to run in, come on!!!!!!!

    • @whotube5187
      @whotube5187 5 месяцев назад +1

      The problem was that he was on the line, 1st base path specifically has a running *lane outlined by the second line that the runner is supposed to use. That’s interference 10/10 times.

      @michaelwolf6424 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@whotube5187 The rule stinks. At some point the runner MUST chage over to hit the bag. .which is completely in FAIR territory. You can't just change directions on a dime without turning an ankles . .or worse. The runner stayed in that box all the way down until it was time for him to go into fair territory. It was an objective call and obviously didn't go Florida's way. But plenty disagree. Including me, I saw a baseball play. No way the runner intentionally tried to interfere with a thrown ball he couldn't see unless he puts eyes in the back of his head.

    • @whotube5187

      @@michaelwolf6424 I think the idea is the runner is supposed to hit the outside of the bag. Some rules simply have to exist to eliminate the idea of players abusing the lack of the rule. If the rule didn’t exist then you might as well lay down a third base line bunt every at bat and collide with the first baseman as he tries to catch the throw

    • @davidboulware
      @davidboulware 5 месяцев назад

      @michaelwolf6424 You definitely can run interference on that play intentionally without seeing the ball. I did it frequently when I played baseball by simply running at the fielder's glove. In fact, I guarantee you that's exactly what this batter did.

    • @andrewbarber6885
      @andrewbarber6885 5 месяцев назад

      @@davidboulware So then it doesn't matter that the throw would have still hit him in the back even if he had been running outside of the line? Cause if you watch the replay the first baseman's glove was headed well outside of that line because that's where the throw was going.

      Bullshit. Check those glasses Sparky. The wind pushed down a sure HR in his first AB while the other two ABs produced screamers to a "shift" infield. . the last one hit at 119mph. Even the Porker coach marveled at how hard that ball was scorched. Smith was fortunate to get him out and he acknowledged it after the game. Nor did he strike Cags out. Laugh your way to Walmarts.
