    For most RBs, if you made a highlight reel showing all of their career TDs, the vast majority of them would be from like the 1, 2, 3 yard line, etc, but most of these are 10, 20, 30, 40+ yard TDs lol and hes breaking tackles, making people miss, doing both at the same time

    @WattAve 6 лет назад +2

    The reason why this guy deserve a top seat in the GOAT conversation is because for a vast majority of his career in Minnesota, he WAS the offense. He had little to zero help from the passing game. He had washed up Favre and McNabb, a Christian Ponder, Tarvaris Jackson, and Bridgewater as QBs with no outside help from the receiving game. Against 8-9 man stacked boxes, AD broke through them like they’re presents on Christmas morning.
    This man IS a future HOFer, and deserves a top seat amongst the greats.

    We will most likely never see a RB with his abilities I mean he was so insane I lived for the Vikings games to start, because u knew that AP was going to put on a supernaturally amazing show the way that man just waited to see daylight and we new he has that 2nd gear that was unbelievable he never gave up never took the easy way when he ran into contact. All I see now days are people who just don't have the ability that man had the way he did things like it was a slow motion video game stiff arms, shifting his feet from the people in front of him, spinning to get around defenders, then that daylight is when it was like ok no more slow motion, the 2nd gear would hit and it was just so special and beautiful to watch him run the way he did.

He took the handoff, hit the jets, and in a split second changed direction TWICE!! Five Packers had a shot at him, and all completely whiffed! If he wasn't caught literally by a shoelace he was gone. The thing you can see with so many touchdowns here is his decisiveness. When he sees something open, he makes 1 cut and goes for it and its just vicious because its total commitment. Too many young RB's these days, they dont trust their eyes, and that time they're caught thinking turns what could be a big gain or a TD, like many here, into a limited gain or even a loss. If that's one thing players can take from Petersons film, its trusting your eyes and letting the feet do the rest.

    Watching this video reminds me of years of growing up cheering for him as the hope of the Vikings. Don't get me wrong, all the new guys in Minnesota are cool, but there is no replacing Adrian Peterson. I hope he comes back to retire. Skol!
