I'm so used to people havin a negative 'once a junkie always a junkie' attitude about and around me so it means a lot to hear nice words instead. I was on 200 pound crack a day and 50 heroin stopped Xmas Eve and ain't looked back. I not gonna pretend iv not wanted it and been close to giving up but seriously that's why I really hope Lydia sees my comment cos every time I get a craving or sit and think about the past I put one of her videos on and it spurs me on and really does motivate me. I owe her my life really however mad that may sound to some I really do feel that way xxxx

I learned a while ago that the best way to get out of my own ego and sadness is to "get outside of myself" , check on someone else, be of service to someone else. It gives amazing perspective on your own life and issues and can give you a reprieve from obsessing over our problems and find the gratitude. ❤️

Hi lovely ladies, I was so touched by this comment.
As women I think most of us have been affected by another woman’s actions or words.
When will we stop hurting our own gender and instead reflect on why we feel the need to hurt or put someone else down.
I wish that one day all these nasty, vindictive women have an an epiphany and wake and realise that what they are really doing is projecting all their own self loathing onto others. Lydia you make me laugh, you are real and you brighten my day, you are what I strive to be.

Dear Lidya, I know from personal experience how difficult it is when someone close to you suffers from Alzheimer's disease, when he no longer recognizes you and does not remember anything. I send you all my love and support, just remember the beautiful moments together and it will be easier for you.

Firstly I have been watching Lydia for quite a few years now and absolutely feel that she has had an amazing effect not only myself but my 13 year old daughter. I came across your channel around the time I was going through a “friend divorce” 3 yrs ago, and recently when my young brother passed away. Watching your videos has given a depth and reality to someone who is only trying to share what makes them happy with no filter. For me watching Lydia’s vlogs are always a time for myself- a small in home spa 😊 weather a face mask, pedicure or manicure 💅 it’s always easy to get caught up in the negativity around us, but it’s our choice how we respond and react to it 😉😌

I was crying the whole time listening to you read it out loud for everybody, and you naming me; I missed the stories you put on your IG, but I did see the horrible things some people would write in the comment section. I was so mad at these awful people that I just started typing as soon as you put up your video that day, then I watched after. It really was such an exasperating experience when I would finish one of your lovely videos, only to find negative nancies in the comments picking you apart over petty things. It is wrong, cyberbullying is wrong, always! These people always hide behind fake names and fake pics Lydia, they are beneath you, you are always winning! I wished that they would just unsubscribe, but this is your channel, never feel that you have to apologize for deleting comments that serve no purpose but causing angst, or for blocking anyone who keeps bringing negative energy, they are not welcome here. I’ve been watching vlogs/RUclips videos for many years and have noticed how the comments section has changed. Back in 2009/10, there was no such thing as the term “influencer” - it was literally just someone who turned on a camera and shared their passions and interests. Nowadays, people hold influencers/content creators to impossible standards.
It is seemingly not enough to share hobbies and passions - the person has to have impeccable morals, ethics, habits, personality traits, appearances, opinions...the list goes on. The issue is, what is considered ‘correct’ to one person could be questionable to another. It is fighting a losing battle. Of course, it is very important to be responsible and considerate with a large platform. But there is a difference between responsibility and angelic levels of perfection that no human being can possibly measure up to. I’m here to switch off with a cup of coffee, admire beautiful fashion and make ‘aw’ noises at the cat 😂 I don’t particularly want to be reading a thesis on the environmental impacts of tumble drying when I’m trying to chill out. I think it’s important to be mindful that content creators have a niche and specialism just like any other person with a job and they are not entitled to make a statement about every aspect of their lives.

Hello Lydia 😊! I will pray for you, your Nona, and your family. I appreciate your transparency in sharing moments of pain coupled in moments of joy. You’re human and you don’t pretend to be fine when you’re not. My aunt has a rare disease that is similar to ALS and is currently in hospice. There is so much more that I am dealing with and it doesn’t make me lash out at others. Instead, I encourage and love on people more intentionally when I am hurting. I believe you have more for you than against you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💕!!!!

If you want to get a dog please consider a rescue! Lots of them are owner surrenders (they’re moving somewhere and cant have pets) they don’t all need experienced owners, just someone who is alright not having a puppy :)

Dear Lydia , my grandpa had Alzheimer. I know how you feel and how difficult is for a family to have a beloved member in such a sad condition.. i still have him in my mind and in my heart and i cry every time i talk about him even though he has almost 10 years he left us .. i have a box full of his memories cause he wanted to write draw and play with cotton when he was ill. I have his drawings his handwriting and his cotton "designs" in this box .. god bless all these people who are delaying with alzheimer. Sorry for my english i am from Greece ♥️

My grandpa was in the hospital this month and it made me so sad too. I really understand the feeling of worrying about them especially when they are so old and so fragile.
I love to see how caring you are of the people and things around you. You treat Ali so well, and lumi seems to have the best pet-mom ever. If you and Ali ever decide (or are able) to have kids I think you will be an amazing mom. It seems that it's is simply impossible for you to not give love and care to those around you. Love your channel!

Hi Lydia, I’ve watched your Channel for a few years now and I adore your content. Your full of positivity and love and it definitely shines through, just watching this video, and when you were speaking of your Nonna, I’m assuming through your words that your Nonna has some form of Alzheimer’s or dementia, if this isn’t the case I apologise, but I work in the care industry and care
For those who suffer from the above diseases and I do understand how challenging it must be for you all to see someone you love not recognise you, although she does not have any recollection of who you are, know that somewhere in her mind there is a small part of her that will always love you and your family. I think I’ve waffled on for long enough now, but remember one thing, ‘you are loved by so many people, and we as a community are always here with you and support you through everything, every time you laugh we laugh, every time you cry we cry’ have a beautiful day 💖💖

I read her comment when she made it and loved it. It was brilliant! Everyone should read this and take it to heart. We all have our struggles and it doesn’t help to tear others down. That’s not the way to feel better. Building someone else up, priceless.
