I really enjoy all your videos, and I would have love if you could make more of them. I read in a comment that you got a new job and moved to a new country so now you don't really have a lot of time. Like others, I hope you come back and start uploading again -- your videos are extremely concise and helpful. I also hope that you're well, as this video (your most recent as of right now) was uploaded right before the worst of COVID happened.
Thanks! Don't worry, I'm doing well. I stopped uploading because I tried to move to a different country during the pandemic, which is as complicated as you'd imagine. Still trying to find time to work on these videos, which unfortunately take more than a full workday to produce (on top of a full time job)

Great video once again. I am currently actively learning Dutch and I would like to take an official exam in the near future. I have been trying to book an exam in the UK , however I do not have any issues travelling to the Netherlands if necessary. If anyone here could help me find an easy way to book an official exam to track my progress then I will be forever grateful.

Native Dutch speaker here: What Niels says, is correct. But, we don't take it too seriously in the Netherlands. Half the time, it does not really matter if you use OVT or VTT. Hence, half the time it does sound a bit weird if you do it "wrong". If you follow Niels, you will almost always do it right. Although, I must confess that I would have preferred "Ik ben gisteren naar Amsterdam geweest" instead of Niels' sentence "Ik was gisteren in Amsterdam".

Hi Severin -- not doing it for the money at all. I only get donations when I post a video, so I'm not helping myself by not making new videos! And the money is enough to pay for things like a microphone, lights, software, etc. Unfortunately it's hard to find time. I have a full-time job and I'm also moving to a different country.
