Wow very nice, I would like to do one this year but I don’t know the measurements. Can you please tell me the measurement because I don’t have rolls so I have to do them from scratch? Thank you
If you have to make your own things you do. You though deserve more than a mere pat on the back. I loved watching this. Well done and have a great Xmas.
Thank you thank you thank you!!!... reading comments like yours makes me feel so good... like at 1st im scared people might judge me coz im a beginner but yah... focus on people who appreciate my work and listen to constructive criticism and do better... Merry Christmas Ms Stephanie! have a wonderful yuletide season...
I thought it was brilliant, with just the soldiers themselves, but when you popped the helmet off and revealed it was also a container for candies, etc. I LOST IT! 👏👏👏👏👏 I just ordered 2 of them yesterday, paid $31 and all mine will do is just stand there. They were 60% off though so I’m not complaining! BUT I STILL have some DIY ahead of me bc I want the helmets to be fur, which is why I’m watching your vid, so thank you and enjoy. You did an excellent job! ☺️
wow it gives me chill while reading your comment.. i apricate it so much.. probably it is the effect of pandemic days just staying at home ang pop some ideas.. if i could only send you 1 of my soldiers i will... ❤❤❤
Great video.. can you explain what did you use For arms and legs wat roll was it from? Also to roll to make hat wat it a poster board .. thx I love them nut crackers smart great idea. Thx for your video.
That is the only problem with this tutorial sometimes not having templates or measuring..etc so people like me who loves to craft and also don't have the perfect skills don't get it at all so sad about it. So I'm agree with you..
Great done and very beautiful results!! Just one question, why putting all together and then paint and not paint all before? Anyway, and most important, impressive work. Thank you for your ideas and Happy Holidays.
thank you for appreciating my simple works your comment mean so much to me... about your question i used house paint not acrylic or other stuffs which is light substance.. d reason is the house paint is much stronger it gives harder texture to the materials like paper or plastic.. it makes the material like wood.. much stronger probably because of the ingredients like resin.. so i put them together first and then paint so if it dries out the whole piece will be much stronger and stick all together, its like partly adhesive.. i hope it make sense.. or i just thought...😀
its bigger than 12 inches mam.. i suggest used empty toilet paper roll for nutcracker's body instead and for the arms and legs i think he can use straw from pearl shake its a little bit bigger.. if i had a chance to make a sample if its not too late...
@@reneelipscomb8188 those hands are from empty wallpaper rolls ... its a lil bit thinner compare to tissue paper rolls... if you cant find one you can use hard paper as thick as photopaper.. roll it and cover it with duct tape so it can still be painted

@@mastermaarteh5510 You have nothing whatsoever to apologize for. People aren’t always aware of how much time it takes to create a tutorial and some of us prefer using that time to craft. But you were generous enough to give us a glimpse into how you made your nutcracker and you did a lovely job. Without measurements, it might not be quite as helpful to a beginning crafter, but you aren’t obliged to do that. You figured it out on your own! You did more than most would and it still inspired me to try my own version. So thank you!

I know this was 2yrs ago but what are the dimensions of the legs and arms
My son has to do one of these for a school project it has to be no bigger than 12 inches how tall is this?

@@mastermaarteh5510 that’s a good idea also. I was going to use a Pringles can for the body and something smaller for hands but idk what

Do you sale them? Or just make them for yourself? Either way they're very nice.
