So I heated up the end of a WPL screw driver with a lighter and then melted a hole through the back of a tire near the rim. I previously made whole with a wine cork screw but it just sealed up pretty much and the tire was still firm. The screw driver whole near the rim allows the air to escape without the hole sealing, super soft bead locked tires now. Trying it with one first, was less risk and hassle then drilling a hole in the metal rim.
Those look great! However, I can't endorse a video that doesn't provide a link, tell us anything about where to get the product or what it's called. I mean, that's the most important information after do they work. Right?
@@JJ-uy2sg Thanks for getting back! A tiny note in the description pane, in place of a link, would prevent future wankers like me from giving you a hard time. :-) Cheers.
Seems the store I got them from doesnt have anymore but they work great. No issue at all and it makes such a big difference to have soft tires that dont come off. Still having problems with the WPL gear box, been through about 20 of them. The problem is the plastic cog on the main drive shaft, as its not fixed in place by a screw or anything eventually it gets lose and spins freely. The motor is good but the gear box becomes useless. I tried the all metal one from third parties but that had its own problems.

I live in China they came from a now disappeared website in a zip lock bag... no other info i'm afraid. They must be out there and work perfectly.
