This is a superb compilation and has settled a - slight difference - between my dear Lady Wife. (I was wrong, by the way... until hearing this recording she didn't actually know everything). Mother Nature's balance is restored and I might get my tea after all ! Real quality sound recording (unlike others round here!) Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful song. We have many blackbirds around us, who are screaming out their war-cries to protect their territory. We also have some who sing at night, like my video response...!
I love these bird songs. They remind me of my childhood and all those remote places I'd go to during the summer.

my dog goes crazy every time she hears birds chirping in the backyard...so i brought her in my room to listen to this, and it was hilarious...she stared at the computer, turned her head, and started barking...then she was looking up at the ceiling, thinking the birds were hiding up there haha.

thrush nitingale and skylark are my favorite, sedge warbler sounds pretty cool too. THESE BIRDS sound like synth machines.

I was looking for bird songs so my cat could hear them (lame, I know), but I must say the sound quality of this vid is amazing.
Thank you for posting this, its fabulous. They sing for themselves not for us, but its wonderful to share it. So much power from tiny lungs. To me this IS music, and beats anything that man creates on his peculiar electronics wizardry.

Very beautiful bird sounds, Jeannette. They are a bit alien to me, coming from Europe. But some of the songs sound familiar.
I did not know there was a Eurasian Hoopoe. There is a bird which looks the same, but comes from Africa. That was a surprise to me. And of course, the Skylark -- of whom Percy Bysshe Shelley wrote his great poem, "Ode to a Skylark". And my favourite -- the Nightingale, of whom books and poems and songs have been written. Such beauty in God's creation.

Kitten, 6 months old was excited, after watching birds all morning from the window. Maybe we'll never let him actually go outdoors. Cats often run off if we let them out, at least in the beginning. Most came home within three days. After that, we put a 3x5 index card on the bulletin board at the grocery store. LOL
