I wonder if, in the future, would they reroute the M to the 2nd Avenue Line, provided if a Bronx portion comes in… That would make the M the second line to serve 4 boroughs.
I counted each borough and absolutely no line serves four boroughs so far. The closest we have to 4 boroughs is the A, and it stops at 207th Street, which is just short of the Bronx.
