Hiii I’m a part of Gen Z (i’m 21) but I love the 70s and vintage magazines!! It’s so fascinating to be able to see what was trendy back then. I also love how magazines were laid out and how much effort was put into them… its not the same anymore 😔 Magazines are dying and it’s so sad since I’ve always loved reading and collecting them. Thank you so much for this video it’s so soothing and cool, God bless you 🫶🏼 💕
Wow, the ratio of text to photos in that magazine is wild. Magazines now are 90% photo ads and very little reading. I remember the Secret ad campaign “Strong enough for a man, made for a woman.” 😂
I enjoyed looking at how things were back then even though I was only 11 at the time. The 80’s were more my era and maybe you could do a video of an 80’s magazine. They were the best years.
My goodness, Mary, this was a time travel joy! Appreciate your witty banter as always. This makes me wish I had saved the magazines from my teen years to revisit the products, cultural norms, and fashions (that have unfortunately returned!) of the time.
