Manastır için restorasyon gerekiyordu. Fakat ulaşım sıkıntısı ve zorlu koşullar yüzünden şuan için iptal edildi. Öncelikle gerekli koşullar sağlanacak. Ulaşım ve restorasyon projesi halledildikten sonra inşaat başlanacak. Ayrıca cami örneği saçma. Çünkü Türkiye'de 90 bin cami var. Sadece Trabzon'da 2.5 bin cami var. İstanbul'da ise 3.5 bin. Kimse cami görmek için Türkiye'ye yada İstanbul'a gelmiyor. Camiler Türkiye'nin sembolü zaten. O yüzden birkaç insan dışındakiler hariç, kimse kilise görmek için Trabzon'a gelmeyecektir. Zaten son yıllarda Trabzon'a gelen turist sayısı da epey arttı.
Bu Ülkeye gelenlerin zihninde Ottoman varsa camiler çeşmeler saraylar görebilirsin.Ve bu hiç değişmeyecek .Atacıkların yaptığı saçma heykelleri görmeye gelmiyorlar heralde.Bazen kafası karışıyor beyefendinin.

Aslında kötü niyetle söylenmiş bir cümle değil. Türkiye sadece İstanbul'dan ibaret değil. Camilerde diğer antik ve kültürel yapıların tamamının restore edilmesi gerekiyor. Neticede ülkenin en önemli geçim kaynağı Turizm olan bir ülkeyiz.
Tarihi eserler konusunda haklısın AV. Hepsi bizim için milli değer. Korumamız gerekirdi. Maalesef Avrupa’da da Osmanlı’nın yaptırdığı tarihi eserler koruyup kullanmıyor. Yunanistan’da gözümle şahit oldum. Osmanlı yapıları mekruh yerler haline gelmiş. Hepsi harabeden beter.
Ayrımcılık yapıldığından değil.Kültür Bakanlığının bütçesi çooook az maalesef. Çok sayıda eski yıkık medrese ve camilerimiz de var.

Türkiye'nin İstanbul'dan ibaret olmadığını, Türkiye'yi sadece videolarla tanıyan şu adam bile anladı, bi' bizim kalın kafalılar anlamadı. Bir insan şu manastırları, şu güzellikleri nasıl dünya markası haline getiremez gerçekten anlamakta güçlük çekiyorum.
hiç fikriniz olmadan hassas konularda yorum yapmanız doğru değil ülkemizin her yerinde binlerce mükemmel cami var sadece istanbulda değil ve Türkiye de asla klise ya da manastıra zarar vermek gibi bir şey olamaz oranın doğa koşullarını bilmeden bu şekilde konuşmanız çok yanlış mardinde binlerce yıllık kiliseler manastırlar son derece bakımlı bir şekilde ibadete açık bizi avrupayla karıştırmayın lütfen Türkiye hoşgörü toprağıdır.
destroyed monasteries were abandoned and destroyed in the 1st world war. The restoration of the Sumela monastery took 5 years. There are projects to be restored in other monasteries, but it takes a lot of money and time.

Dear AV, you're right, historical places are treasures and they need to be protected, unfortunately in the past most of those buildings were neglected, not only churches or monasteries but except the big and famous mosques, many old buildings were not taken care of but I have to tell you that I've been to many places in Europe and I've seen monasteries in worse condition than these, only the walls were standing, it happens, as sometimes the nature has their way with them before people even think about protecting them, the fact that the monastery is top on a mountain and very difficult to reach, plus the harsh winters of the area must have made it all more difficult.
Those monasteries were demolished hundreds of years ago, they are not new, and there are dozens of active churches in Turkey, all of them are very clean and well-kept. I wish Europe would show the same sensitivity to our mosques and not demolish them.
I saw some of the comments I am soryy you dont deserve this comments. I see your feelings. In Italy I saw keeping historical buildings are very important. In Turkey it is a new mind protecting historical places.

That 'balcony' was a path carved out in the cliff used by local people for millennia. And when you go to Sumela, take the longer path. ;) There are some initial plans to restore Vazelon monastery. Kuştul Monastery (Saint George Peristereotas monastery) is unfortunately too far gone. It was one of the most impressive structures of the world. On top of a mountain top, with multiple buildings includings two churches. You can see how it looked before by searching for the video of architect Vladimiros Nefidis ('3D Reconstruction of Saint George Peristereota Monastery. Pontos').
You’re absolutely right. The Sumela Monastery has ben restored recently by the state. I hope the other two can also be restored. If you ask me, only the mosques that were built in the classical period and until the 20th century are beautiful. I dislike the newly built ones. We have many orthodox, protestant and catholic churches everywhere and tourists are generally unaware. In Ayvalık ( west coast), there’s one catholic church which is a mosque at the same time! Both are active. Peace.

Dear AV, The monastery, which embraced many sad events, came to our mix by being talked about in the historical scenes where 400 monks were killed after a great attack in 490 AD. This monastery, which was destroyed and even said to be in ruins after these attacks, has been restored many times. The most important of these was the order of the emperor Justinian in 565 AD. Very valuable manuscripts were found in the Vazelon Monastery. The existence of a giant library is mentioned in the scenes of history. In the monastery, we come across documents where there is an archive where the monks who lived at that time wrote down everything and kept very valuable information. The monastery was completely evacuated by the Monks in 1922 after the exchange between Turkey and Greece. After the monks left, Vazelon, the richest, most active and oldest monastery in the region, left its position to silence. On the other hand, in the face of the events that took place, the only thing that could be saved from the important archive of the monastery was the Icon of St. John the Baptist. This icon was first moved to Greece and then to Russia for protection. It is still on display today..

Of course turkey is taking care.
This buildings got destroyed hundrets or even tousands of years before modern days due earthquakes, wars.
There are alot old buildings like the colosseum and many others from roman era which also got destroyed in Italy. It would be not okey if i would say italians dont take care of them.
In fact they got destroyed tousands of years before Italy existed.
Once a building got destroyed, you cant rebuild it. Thats not the way how to take care of it.

Ait olduğum şehir ve bölge hakkında daha sağlıklı konuşabilirim. Mesela İzmir'de bulunan defalarca ziyaret ettiğim Meryem Ana Kilisesi ve Efes antik kenti gibi yapılar koruma altında. Sürekli kontrol ve bakımları yapılıyor. Yanlış hatırlamıyorsam Meryem Ana kilisesi için bakım masrafları Vatikan tarafından karşılanıyor. Hristiyanlık için ciddi önem arz eden 7 kilisenin tamamı Ege Bölgesinde yer alıyor ve ne yazık ki antik kentlerde dahil bazıları bakımsız ve atıl durumda. Kültür Bakanlığı'nın ciddi çalışmalarıda mevcut ancak bende yetersiz olduğu kanaatindeyim. Şu an için İzmir'in en eski yerleşim yeri olarak bulunan Yeşilova Höyüğü ve İzmir Alsancakta bulunan Tekel binası Kültür Bakanlığı tarafından restorasyonu devam eden yapı ve alanlar. Evet kabul etmek gerekir ki bu noktada ciddi eksikliklerimiz mevcut. Bence Dünya'nın her bölgesindeki antik , kültürel yapılar ülke Bakanlıkları tarafından koruma altına alınmalı. Neticede hepimiz bu dünyanın sahibiyiz ve bu eserlerde Dünya mirası. Umuyorum birgün 🙏

However, in my childhood, everyone celebrated the holiday of their neighbors of different religions. There was no enmity or separation. We did not know whether our neighbor was Turkish, Kurdish, Alevi or Christian. We lived in a square. Now look at our situation....

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism already attaches the necessary importance to the buildings in need of restoration. I need to ask you this question. Colosseo is one of the oldest building in the history, and acually is always non stop under control. Is impossible to find a better building that Colosseo with same age. Colosseo made more than 50 000 000 of euro in tickets at year and a loot of this money get used for make sure that will be beautiful for a loot of other years . I think Turkey need to make more cool campaign about tourism and give more importance to places like Trabzon because are so unique and beautiful 😍 ❤
@@AVREACTSHOW You misunderstood me. Sometimes a very old historical artifact can be damaged by natural events, no matter how much it is protected. Of course, the Colosseum is very old, very popular, but some of it was unintentionally destroyed as a result of earthquakes. The lands where civilization first started are in our geography. For example, Göbeklitepe was discovered a few years ago, and with this study, it was revealed that the civilization dates back 12,000 years. It is said that Göbeklitepe has many unexplored places. Excavations are almost done with a toothbrush. Archeology studies are carried out with this sensitivity. This is what I was trying to explain.🤗❤️
