    Florence Nightingale's effectiveness as an advocate is an illustration of how bold a person born into an empowered circumstance can be.
    The working class nurses would have had to risk much more to undertake the cause she did.
    Thanks Mr. Keillor, for the story.

    Why didn't I know about this before?? I've missed The Writer's Almanac since it left the radio; very important to me during some hard times. I'll be listening daily from now on. Great hearing you again, Garrison!
