I got into fragrances a bit too late after a majority of these perfumes got discontinued and you most definitely should smell these before purchasing! I have Alien Goddess and I love it!
I did not like Alien Goddess at first but now I’m in love with it. I’m saving up so I can purchase one for my collection ASAP 😊❤️
Alien Mirage is my signature scent. Never smell a scent like Mirage. It's simple but magical imo. I live in a country where everyday like a summer here. And yes, yes yes Mirage exactly give me the vibe of healing at the waterfall in a tropical rain forest.
The original alien is intense to me. However, it’s my every day scent lol….because I love the dry down of it. After the intensity wears off from the initial spray, it smells so beautiful to me and lasts a long time especially on clothes.
So glad to have found a nice perfume to wear with coconut lime etc 👍 very helpful and great comparison video

Alien is beautiful, but I totally agree - it's a difficult fragrance to wear. Jasmine is beautiful, but if it's too green/hedy, it's headache inducing. I own Fusion and wear it sparingly. The dry down is the best part, the vanilla just makes it sweeter. You got me very interested in Mirage - I am hearing positive things about it in the fragrance community. I hope I can find a bottle online. I am always afraid these fragrances will get discontinued.
I just brought an Alien Goddess set 🥰🥰 the original and other flankers are too much for me unfortunately... but so glad now I can enjoy a Mugler frag and gorgeous bottle! ❤

I only own one Alien and it’s Eau Sublime. I got it in the summer and I forgot all about it in the cooler months. I should wear it now and see how I like it compared to the warmer weather. I’m interested in Fusion, Eau Extraordinaire and Goddess now after watching your video. 🥰👌
I think alien Goddess is a beautiful summer scent:) I have a travel spray but really need to pick up a big bottle… I get a little bit of the jasmine when my skin gets really warm. It lasted all day on my skin as well….
Alien was my signature scent since 2015 and my favourite flamker was Alien Absolue . The thick opulent thick almost gourmand vanilla infused in the original alien i just adored it. It was even better than the original and i really miss it as its discomtinued ( p.s: i love strong fragrances which are a rare find these days and these two did the job) also alien used to be a lot stronger than the current formulation. It used to be a beast. Its still a lot stronger than most fragrances today so its still alright.
Alien Essence Absolue and Alien Goddess are my favorite flankers, I have Fusion and I like it but not quite a love. I had Eau Extraordinaire but gifted that to a friend since it was too citrusy for me. I also have Eau Sublime and not sure if I will keep it, I prefer the original over that one. But I will give it another try in the summertime and see how I feel lol

i got mine yesterday and its very pretty i wish i bought two instead of flora futura which was a major disappointment
I absolutely love alien! But I did notice once I wore it to work and every time I got close to a certain coworker she’d start sneezing like crazy 😂 We knew it was me but we both didn’t say anything lol. Imma still rock my alien idc.

I have Alien and so many of the flankers. Alien, Alien Essence Absolue, Alien Oud Majestueux and Alien Fusion are my favorite out of them all.
I agree that the OG Alien is a bit much, but I did get a vintage bottle and it doesn't give me a headache like the reformulated version. Still though, I can only wear on my wrists. Alien Extraordinaire, however, is such a delightful easy to wear fragrance that blooms in the heat. I am headache prone, but Extraordinaire never irritates my head or nose. It has only a tiny touch of the original DNA. It's refreshing and uplifting as well. I have one 90ml bottle and two refills in my closet. It's my signature summer scent.

The only one I have tried is The edt as I was advised to do by Sally Marion.
And indeed it's not headache inducing, it goes more to the soapy side and the jasmine is not annoying. Two sprays and that's all.

I do not own any of the Alien perfumes but I did recently place an order for Alien Goddess. I think I’m going to love it because it’s totally different and I love coconut/vanilla scents
Did you end up liking it? I love coconut/vanilla scents too & have been debating ordering a bottle of Goddess. But not sure if I would like it or not.
@@rachelflower8826 It’s a beautiful summer scent however I ended up returning it because it didn’t have good lasting power on my skin. Too pricey for poor longevity. But that’s my opinion. Everyone’s body chemistry is different
I have always loved the alien bottle and my boyfriend loves it on me, but I cannot stand it on myself. However I love the flankers!

I saw that Giuliana‘s perfumes is making a perfume inspired by alien essence ablsolue! I can’t wait to try because I am a lover of Amber and Alien Perfumes!
I think I want to try it too.. even though I know I’m setting myself up with that one since many people say it’s A stronger version of alien 😳🤣
I had the original alien and love it but when I wear it I find it a little too heavy so I gave it awake. I’d like to buy one of the lighter versions

Not a big Alien fan. I do like Fusion, but I don’t wear it much. I have a decant of Goddess, and I love it. Julianna’s is doing a dupe of Essence Absolu. It’s called Scarlett Letter. Supposed to be released next week if you want to check it out.

I was intrigued by Hermes Le Jardin's rhubarb note but when I found Alien Aura at a discount (which also had rhubarb in the opening), I decided that was fate 😄
I only have Eau Extraordinaire and I really like it…. I also tried Fusion and I thought it was nice too… sad though i did not get it before because I was not that big into that kind of scent profile… but Mirage, that one is really beautiful! I wish I can get that… 💙

Hi Amy! I have Dapper's version of Alien Essence Absolue. It is potent. Just imagine the original Alien but heavy on Vanilla.
I had to come back to add....I also have Dapper's version of Dior's Fève Délicieuse. It reminds me of a slightly softer Alien Essence Absolue without the heady jasmine. Don't get me wrong, it has jasmine but it's not a loud as in Alien. 👽💜
Vanilla does sound nice 🥴🥰 I’m going to have to try one of the dupe versions out soon.
I own Alien EDP, Alien EDT, and Alien Fusion. Julianna’s Perfume is coming out with their version of Alien Essence Absolue in about a week. I may pick that one up.

@@stacylekar1217 Essence Absolue still has the Jasmine, Amber, and wood notes like Alien EDP, but I think the amber is bumped up a bit with added vanilla and spice notes.

I am definitely not an Alien girl…the Jasmine pulls too sharp to my nose. I really want to try Goddess, tho! Seems like something that would be perfect for me!! Great video as usual!
If you don’t like alien I’m almost sure you will like goddess. It’s smooth, creamy and pretty 🥰
I had fusion but everytime I wore it I sneezed! The pepper in it tickled my nose :( but I love eau sublime and I really want goddess. I also had the extraordinaire version but that one was too peppery too. I'm not sure if I want to try the original just yet...
Definitely an Alien Girl!! I have owned all but Alien EDT and Alien Oud. (Do not try Musc- that was one of the worst things I have ever smelled in my life)
Alien fusion is top tier- top 10 for me of life. The cinnamon and vanilla in that make it intoxicating to me. I love it to much. I always say she is the Puerto Rican Alien who is a lil spicy, sweet, and drinks coquito 🥛 🥃
Alien Extraordinarie is bomb too. Very fresh and a little spicy/ zesty.
I love the OG of course and Alien Essence is fire during the winter. Since you don’t love the OG on your skin and the heavy Jasmine I would skip her though- she is most like the original to my nose with added sweetness and booziness. Even heavier with a syrupy vibe.
I even love Futura and I’m not a floral lover. She was my first Alien I ever got though so I have a soft spot in my heart for her. You are so right though- she is a beautiful floral.
You know I kinda wish I would’ve kept Alien fusion and mixed it with a little Angels Share 🤔 to bring out more of the cinnamon in it. Hmm I think I’ll be adding it back to my collection eventually. 😆😂 Thanks for sharing your thoughts!! 🥰❤️

Yes, please! I have yet to find an Angel I like. Angel Nova is too fruity and juicy for me. Very juvenile in my opinion.
I’ll do one for Angel as well but I definitely can’t wear the original Angel either 😩😆 I do like some flankers though. 🥰
My top fav aliens are the original, the taste of fragrance alien, essence absolue, and oud majestueux.
I tried Angel EDT and Angel Nova EDT and they both make my eyes water, and not in a good way 😢. I wonder what would happen with the EDP versions of these. Have not tried Alien.

You should review the Supra Florale by mugler
Alien is one of those scents that a little good s long way. It is overwhelming if you are smelling it all day.
With Alien and Alien flankers your climate is going to dictate which Alien fragrance you can wear. I was in Macy’s and got a sample of Alien Iced Star it has a beautiful coconut scent profile which would be good for you living in a warm climate like PR. Maybe you should should try that one. I am looking forward to wearing that one for the S/S 22 season.

I have three bottles of Thierry Mugler Alien, not Mugler Alien. That’s how much I adore it! But I can see how folks wouldn’t like it, it’s a jasmine bomb! I also have Extraordinare, Sublime, Essence Absolue, Goddess, Mirage, Fusion, and Aqua Chic. Clearly I’m an Alien fan, lol.

Great reviews! I love Fusion. Some note in Goddess makes me nauseous which makes me sad. Just a note...Sublime is pronounced like sub-lime in lemon and lime. 💗
I just can't wear any of them without getting a really bad headache. Even 1 sniff sets me off :-(

Just found and bought online Alien Eau Sublime. Good for summer ,since it is summer here in Australia. Still testing it though. Not yet a love but an interesting and quite unique scent. Definitely has the OG Alien DNA.
I bought Alien for myself the other day. Wow !! It smelled like furniture polish !! I cannot abide it. Some lucky person that likes Alien will now be gifted a full bottle...🤣🤣🤣

Came here in a desperate attempt to find a dupe for Alien Eau Sublime in 2024. Please help!
I have all of them including the original formulation of alien and the new formulation and the difference is night and day. It's crazy how the reformation completely ruined the fragrance because I don't even like the reformulated original alien. Fusion is one I crave in the summer but it doesn't last at all. I will say I love goddess even though it's so far from the alien line and should have been a stand alone and not a flanker.
I wish I could’ve owned one before the reformulation 🤔 Maybe that’s why It smells different on me vs when I used to smell it on other people.
@@AmyGlam when I wear my original formulation people ask me all the time what I'm wearing. The original formulation was better blended and doesn't have that children's cough syrup smell that's with the reformulated one. I seriously only get grape cough syrup or a very medicinal smell with the reformulated version and it drives me insane. My 2 favorite scents have been reformulated; alien and lolita lempika which I have a 2013 version bottle but can't bring myself to wear because once it's gone that's it. I'll never be able to experience that smell again :(
I love Alien but yes they are a bit strong. Just picked up Goddess but have not tried it yet. I just smelled from the bottle. I have to agree they should have just named it Goddess because smells nothing like Alien. They are not even distant cousins 😂

The original alien smells so good on other people. However, it gives me a banging headache when I wear it myself. I smelled Goddess in store and looove it, nothing like the original. Hope I can get my hands on Extraordinair.
I just can’t find a Mugler perfume that I like yet. Alien Goddess is ok. Alien/Angel are horrid imo. I don’t understand the hype.

I was used to speaking more English yo until two years ago we got stationed in Puerto Rico which is where I was born, so now I’m constantly switching from English to Spanish and I’ve noticed I get tongue tied way more now 🤦🏻♀️🤣 I catch it when I’m editing but by that time it’s too late 😩
