The smoke can hurt sometimes 3.they might not have enough room to put smoke So it's not the smoke but will be not buying this I got real model trains at home

They actually make steam engines that small if you're going to spend a ludicrous amount of money on a model train you should at least get your money's worth and get one that actually runs on steam.

Apparently I got one from a different seller, and I can tell you, it's actually a diy kit, not pre assembled.
You can get a much much nicer model than this for $229 🤦♂️
