For me when He came in my heart, I was drunk and high, and in a moment He changed that, I wasn't drunk or high anymore.. And lol, here is the "but", I realized, I had to leave the friends that were into drugs, I literally got up and walked out the door with 1 dollar in my pocket.... All my good intentions, His grace helping me, I realized, sometimes you have to run from your old environment.. Sometimes, we are told to stand, but there are times, it is good to "flee temptation".... Do whatever you have to, to stop! If that means "killing your computer"!! Do it!! This is such good advice brother,, "Make no provision for the flesh"... Really that just means, don't make it easy to fall. If you are addicted to drugs, don't hang out with your drug addict friends, tell them about Jesus if you can, then leave.. Don't sit around at night while they are getting high.. if you are addicted to alcohol, you don't keep a bottle "around".. You dump it.. I know this seems so basic, to anyone trying to get out of an addiction, but sometimes we miss the obvious!! I know, the most deceptive person I know... can be me, trying to justify something... Trust Jesus, ask Him to help you, and He will my brother.. It has been over 44 years now.. I still have the marks on my left arm as a reminder, but I also see the marks on His hands and feet for me, and know, He is good, and He does fill me with hope and Him, and just help and ability.. but be wise bro'.. I'm Christian since I was a child, my parents always tried to make me go to church to teach me the good and the evil, it was a little bit confusing for me at my 20's because I saw them and I saw sadness or fury in the very deep of their lives... at some point it makes me lost the path and it was very difficult because I was doing what I wasn't raise to do, but I felt "good"... my mom got sick and on her last 3 years she really found Jesús and she understood A lot of things that she was preaching, in that moment I realized that Jesús and religion aren't the same that I needed Jesús in my life it has been difficult has been a struggle sometimes but trust me it has been a bless, now I'm a father and I'm trying to teach to my kid who God is when I listened this song for the first time I was crying and praying and God shows me that I was trying to teach to my son religión I was falling on the same circle that I was raised... teach religión not Jesús... since that day I have been changing a lot of areas in my life in order to show to my little boy who is God. This song has been a really bless sometimes we fall on a comfort zone we think that just going to church listen the word that's all and isn't we need to change we need to reflect Jesús he's about to come.

Definitely was connected in the spirit with God, it's seriously very rare for anyone to do this with out the the supernatural power of God.
The most incredible thing is when you listen a song like this and you feel the Jesus' presence so close, but so close that you can't stop your tears. Celeste, you'll do fine. I led worship full time for several years, and now (after I moved) I do it on a part-time/relief basis. The biggest (and probably the most painful) lesson I ever had to learn was that leading people in worship had very little to do with playing the "right" song or even playing it well. I thought I was cool and that I could pick trendy songs. Well, I'm not cool.. haha. :) Leading music is about being genuine in your own worship. So maybe you'll make a mistake. That's ok, because that service isn't about you. Practice. Demand proficiency (as all good musicians do). But do it BEFORE you get on stage. You can be very calm because, whatever happens up there, just... happens. And it's all to the glory of God, no matter what. If you tell me the exact time of your service (and time zone), I'll be sure to spend a few moments in prayer before your service begins. Good luck and God bless. :)

I went through a brutal meth addiction and landed at the foundry farm in cullman al played this song alllmost every morning searching for peace ive been sober for over a year now and still this sond brings the peace only Jesus can provide God bless all who struggle with addiction and may they all be led to a place as wonderful as the foundry

I have struggled with depression for a long time stemming from feeling abandoned, betrayed and rejected. It didn't hit me at first until one night driving home from the gym...I drive by a mental health center named "Oceans behavioral health hospital" I listen to this song often driving back post workout..the calming welcome that came over me once those dots connected is indescribable.

I still have periods of depression, though only when my focus is off Him. He’s using those days in my life to work with others because I’m applying to grad school for a masters in Christian counseling psychology. I went through those days so that others will know they too are never alone.

And Hillsong especially singing this song makes me happy. The most incredible thing is when you listen a song like this and you feel the Jesus' presence so close, but so close that you can't stop your tears. Celeste, you'll do fine. I led worship full time for several years, and now (after I moved) I do it on a part-time/relief basis. The biggest (and probably the most painful) lesson I ever had to learn was that leading people in worship had very little to do with playing the "right" song or even playing it well. I thought I was cool and that I could pick trendy songs. Well, I'm not cool.. haha. :) Leading music is about being genuine in your own worship. So maybe you'll make a mistake. That's ok, because that service isn't about you. Practice. Demand proficiency (as all good musicians do). But do it BEFORE you get on stage. You can be very calm because, whatever happens up there, just... happens. And it's all to the glory of God, no matter what.
If you tell me the exact time of your service (and time zone), I'll be sure to spend a few moments in prayer before your service begins. Good luck and God bless. :)

I have struggled with depression for a long time stemming from feeling abandoned, betrayed and rejected. It didn't hit me at first until one night driving home from the gym...I drive by a mental health center named "Oceans behavioral health hospital" I listen to this song often driving back post workout..the calming welcome that came over me once those dots connected is indescribable.

I still have periods of depression, though only when my focus is off Him. He’s using those days in my life to work with others because I’m applying to grad school for a masters in Christian counseling psychology. I went through those days so that others will know they too are never alone.
I lost my grandmother to pancreatic cancer last year, tomorrow will be one year she is gone. I found this song today and I've played it over and over and I feel her presence every time I hear it. such a beautiful and powerful song, brings me to tears.

Sin has the article "the" in this verse.. It is talking about the sin principle we all have, and will always have. The truth is, daily, I need Him to overcome my old nature, and He does that as I walk with Him.. surrendering my old will for His..... just agreeing with Him, and asking Him to change me as He shows me.. He loves me, and you dear sis.. You can trust Him.. Just think of being a Christian as walking each moment, with someone that loves you and will create what He desires in you... It isn't hard.. justinbgaga We all have our walk with Him, you are missing what I am saying. Each of us, in our love with and for Him, and no one can have a relationship with Him for another... However, there is nothing wrong, as Paul and others requested prayer, so can, and should we.. I have found the youngest believer, has the same access to the Father as I do, after 45 years. We are told pray one for another friend... that is the gist of my comment.. No one was saying we shouldn't pray ourselves, or pursue Him ourselves.
If you think about it, I covet your prayers.. lol. yes.. and I have had a wonderful time in Him, all day, each moment, walking with Him.. but I have no qualm about saying to a brother or sister, in fact I just talked to a dear brother in Jesus I have none for over 40 years, and have no qualm saying, "I am praying for you and yours" and he always responds with the same sentiment.. All His grace to you, as it is sufficient for us.

Oh how this song encourages me, this specific video was awesome as the female lead with the amazing voice demonstrated her passion and mission in the one move, of letting the crowd sing "Spirit Lead me..." and just worshipped WITH them as she did her part of leading them into God's presence, then stepping away for a bit to let them just enjoy him. I watched the whole worship video of Passion 2013 and the last song Revelation Song just brought me to tears, overwhelmed by the presence and glory of the Lord. I encourage you to watch it.
