Fantastic! Now we need no Entertainer Keyboard anymore. Take Avenger in your DAW and play Chords on the left hand, play the lead on the right on your MIDI Keyboard. Thank you guys for this outstanding update.
Two killer features about step sequencer and arpeggiator would be (a la cream/blue arp...) a matrix arpeggiator and a tonal quantizer switchable after the sequencer Matrix Arp : Based on a grid, each step can be filled with note number (something up tu 4 or 5) so, let's say you program a pattern with following note numbers 1/4/2/3/2/4/1/4 and you play a Amin7 (A/C/E/G) chord, your arpeggio will go A/G/C/E/C/G/A/G. Simple but very effective! Tonal Quantizer: You can input any sequence on your sequencer and transpose it with a keyboard while keeping it in a selected scale. The quantizer will only alow in scale key to be heard and will replace any out of scale key by it's nearest in scale key (up or down selectable)

So basically this is kind of like what you get from Yamaha Tyros / Genos, which is great. I'd like to see more of that and how it becomes more and more powerful. I bought Avenger long time ago and I always highly recommend it. I really like how it's evolving. It definitely should not be looked at as a "limited" EDM synth.

i just wish it wasnt cpu heavy. my 3.1 ghz/16ram/intel i7 has a hard time using this in any d.a.w not just live 10.even when you reduce the voices it still spikes the cpu meter. i appreciate the new update but wish my specs would be enough to play thru the presets.
Why did this man break out guitars on one of the most edm influenced synths out there? Because Keilwerths marketing department hates us. Great features being added regardless tho. Still smh ...

I use Cubase 5 since 10 years. I dont want to change that as long as possible. I have all later Cubases and all other Steinberg software as NFR directly from Steinberg. But I stick to version 5. Never change a running system. Furthermore higher versions did not add any features I need and they destroyed the visuals / mixer for me. I dont like the look of the newer versions at all and love the colorful look of the version 5 mixer. And there is a third Reason: I am using and therefore testing VPS Avenger in an outdated environment. If I could I would still use Cubase SX1 since this was the best, but this dont work anymore nowadays. I hope your question is answered!

I don't have Vengeance, I am looking to buy just because of the update. I am a non-piano player. This is what I have been waiting for.

Overclock it. 3.1 isn't very fast, that's bare minimum.
