@@BenHylewell he probably meant a full map completion not a campaign victory (but to be fair legend has done a full map completion with 0 defeats in the entire campaign sooooo)
Just finished my Arbaal campaign, it’s super fun. Teleporting around, summoning blood hosts across the entire map to bring chaos to the whole world at once :)
I'm doing an Arbaal campaign right now and ngl, I hate it >.< Yeah, you can fly around the map every turn but there is 0 other gameplay of consequence. Summon blood hosts to ravage lands you have no interest in? For what? Gold and even skulls you don't need cuz most of the skull throne mechanics don't matter when you don't need to do empire-building of any kind. Hell, you don't even need to set up a 2nd army to invade Malakai/ Kislev or so. You got your 2 home provinces and friends on all sides. It's just rinse and repeat of the same, every single turn. Tech also hardly matters after picking up the infantry stuff and you are already zooming around with an unbeatable stack that can be anywhere it wants to be. Boring af imo.

@bacchus8081 Isn't a Khorne faction supposed to do just that? I personally go around the world conquer a province (preferably one with resources in one or two settlements) and proceed to ravage the surroundings. Like an outpost based empire of constant raiding and pillaging

My mind cannot comprehend the slayers in the woods hiding, as I am reading through the gotrek and Felix novels, this is not the dwarven way. Im imagining snori and gotrek hiding behind a tree poking their head out… does not compute lol
The irony that i almost submitted a decisive defeat arbaal battle against masters of innovation but afted a few tries the AI did something weird and advanced their artillery undefended at the other side of a choke point and i was able to get a phyrric victory against it. A battle id have never won in the past (entirely melee infantry and a blood shrine) but using cheese ive learned from legend (stuffing my army away from the choke point and using the one unit i couldnt hide to bait them the opposite direction) actually worked out when severely outgunned and outnumbered. Thia channel rocks
Arball should not be immortal as an AI. One kill and whole faction dies. Something unique and fun. He could be more powerfull but whole existance centrate on one character.

I have no idea and oould be wrong but one possibility is having to emergency recruit them from multiple provinces at the same time because they were in a hurry, then just didn't consolidate them
I'm just Curious. The Player gets a Dilemma to End the Campaign or getting "the Defeated" as title. What did the AI do? Could you ask that Player, please?
Nothing happens to the ai as of right now. Defeated him yesterday as golg mameater and he came back a few turns later and still had the undefeated title even though he had been very defeated.
There's currently a bug related to the splash damage changes that is making all elite units absolute rubbish in melee, eg base chaos warriors beating Fireborn. Hard to gauge how well your campaigns are going currently as your basement tier infantry are going to match and beat the enemies elites.
What's always funny about these is these people WATCH YOU. They know you can play these battles, with these armies. But they don't do the most basic things. Don't force march. Don't level up like a moron.
