Thanks for the review. Sorry If I missed it in the review but how's the ANC? Is it really comparable to APP2? The only TWS I've tried that has a comparable ANC performance is Sony XM4 and maybe Bose QCII.
Sorry! I meant to cover that 😅 the ANC is not as good as APP2. It’s passable but not the best. Another quirk is that volume has to be relatively high on my iPhone for the Ace2 to perform where I like it… so not a lot of wiggle room with volume
Great review and I totally agree with your thoughts. For music listening, I'll always reach for these over the APP2. Glad you recommended these, as I've been listening to them daily.
I was really hoping you actually had affiliate links so I could support your channel indirectly! Thanks for the great review. Enjoyable and informative video like usual my bro
subbed! these look cool! found your channel through a topping vs bifrost 2 comparison. i just bought a topping e70 (not in yet, gonna use for tidal and cd player) and wondering if i should have just paid the extra for the schiit lol. i know it's a warmer dac, i listen to classic rock, 90's rock and current metal (inferi, archspire) can a warmer dac keep up with fast paced metal? i'd love the warmer sound for classic rock and even 90's rock for sure. just moving into digital, away from vinyl using a tube amp, so i'm sure i'd love the schiit. sucks having to purchase stuff like this blindly =/ using kef q350 speakers if that matters
I think the warmer DACs can keep up just fine :) plus help with synergy when listening to brighter gear or music. Sounds like you have a dope setup regardless though :)
eh, just a decked out u turn turntable and a pro-ject tube preamp into a nad receiver. Recently found out about tidal, and bought a nad cd player…so this digital stuff is all new to me. Just want it to sound decent, I’m not too picky. I just found out what a dac is like 3 days ago. Been pretty overwhelming reading about it all. lol. 350 from the topping e70 going to 800 for the schiit bifrost 2 is a jump. But I saw ya say in the video, just take the plunge for the expensive one and forget about it lol. May do just that. Thanks!
@@meeee32156yeah, I think DACs are important… but I think once you have one you can basically forget about it for years lol 😆 Bifrost is my pick for best DAC under $1k, then I’d say the Holo Cyan2 for best DAC under $2k/$2.5k then the Holo Spring DACs followed by the TT2 (if you like that sound signature)

Thanks Tyler, great review! Usually I associate smoked plastic with a major electrical short but will definitely give these a try. 🙂
lol 😆 now I can’t unsee that! Still love the look though ha
@@TylersEclecticright tho? Brings back vibes of and almost pays homage to the OG Empyrean aesthetically. I also love it bro!

Cheers! Appreciate the support! I’m just having fun making content for friends and the community:)
I’ve had my pair since the beginning of December and when I use TWS IEMs, this is the pair I pick up to use!
You know!! Love these things!
@@TylersEclectic I now know at least two people that own these. I do really like them.
Most under rated earphones on the market.
Agreed! Still loving my set!
I have owned them for two months, and the sound quality is excellent.
They are still daily drivers for me as well!
