They sure make the young lady's tough up north, I being a soft southern old man will not be going out until it a bit warmer and not having to break the ice on the lakes. good luck stay safe and keep well.
Excellent video full of sound advice for those that brave lakes in the winter months. I am surprised that the fish return so quickly after the disturbance of ice breaking and a few go on the feed. Well done Lass!!
I was out on Keadby canal (local of coarse, Moores bridge) Wednesday freezing. Glad Im not the only nutter fishing. Love these insights into a pro angler, keep em going.
Kayleigh your mad but in a nice way. I admire you for going out in this weather. Me, I’d rather stay in my nice warm bed. Keep up the videos love seeing them during this lockdown.
i just put a small firework in a line on to top the ice ..light it and watch them skate across the surface ..the heat of the fireworks will melt the ice and breaks up .. that way the ice melts quicker and you can have fun watching it with a nice big cup of tea..problem solved
Think I'll stick with the time honoured 'Wait until April' method of clearing the ice! ;-)

got me knackered just watching you break that ice!
Hi Kayleigh i use a 12ft extendable Aluminium pole. With a plastic rake head screwed on the end. Works wonders for moving the ice
Looks good enough to play hockey on, stay safe Kayleigh
Great video mate thanks mark
I had to put my big coat on to watch this !
Great Video! What pole (7-9m) would you recommend me to get for a reasonabe price? I want to get into it ;)
The 10m edge monster margin pole is great for starting on the pole and reasonably priced
