Bro the start fits in almost everything. It fits the huggy hallucination, and dogday chase when he says Oh no OH NOOO LEAVE ME PLEASE JUST GO RUN AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
I was blown away by how lush and orchestral and classically-inspired this chase theme was. Good ol' old-school horror vibes in a very modern horror game
It's scary because he is smart and acts like a predator because when he walks through the door he slowly walks towards you because he knows you have very few options to escape then when you get into the vents he starts actually chasing you and when he gets closer he slows down to give you a sense of helplessness and its the same with the door because when your stuck at the door in the vents he goes fast but as he gets closer he starts going slower. If that's not creepy I don't know what is. . .
When o first fot the game and when i saw this man i was running i was sooo panicky then i died so many god damm times

He does that because thats basically how horror games work at this point. He is coded in a way that he knows how fast or slow you are going and decrease or increases his speed depending on that. To make you pass the level a bit easier. So its not like he is doing it because he is playing his food, no. Its a game mechanic it has nothing to do with the lore stuff.

I like the alarm sound that plays throughout "No More Hugs", it sounds like something you'd probbaly hear while being chased through a vent and to me, it's like a reminder that would tell you something like "dude this living toy is chasing you and if you don't run from it you're gonna die". It just gives me that kind of feel...

They did an amazing job of how Huggy Wuggy was creepily, and surprisingly introduced. What awesome soundtrack pieces. Also Poppy Playtime (the game) gives me BATIM vibes. An Ex-employee goes back to their last job, explores the place, and finds nobody present. Although key pieces of evidence, big and small, that something is not right, you somehow continue on and go deeper in. Suspect, that one of the many things is not how it was left when quitting, it's unknowingly gone from it's pedestal, now watching, and following. While trying the tech, and turning on the toy machine to create your own, a mysterious yet dark hallway opens up. Boo.
Edit: Like how BATIM was an indie game and just one chapter available, then it all of a sudden grew massively in popularity in weeks and months. Just about everyone got into the action and became fans. Poppy Playtime had that same energy, and Huggy Wuggy's appearance much resembles Ink Bendy in a way. Both BATIM and Poppy Playtime were specially made in their own way.
Considering Mob Games are the people who are very familiar to BATIM, I didnt expect them to fail make a game like it, but this still impressed me.
Yes! And the tapes remind me of the audio logs! And the way that (in a theory) that they used employees to make the toys real! There’s so much more but those are just a few examples of how much it reminds me of BATIM! Maybe that’s why I like it so much-
While listening to "No more hugs!" I can still hear Huggy Wuggy's arms and legs banging against the vents

One thing I love about this piece is how it syncs up with the conveyor belt alarm. It adds to the industrial atmosphere in combination with the extensive percussion and low-end orchestra. I need sheet music. NOW.
My dear friend you just write and described what was in my head that i didn't know how to put it on words. Conveyor alarm... so that's what is called. My favorite thing about this piecs is the sound of that alarm too!!!

This song is literally "being chased in a tight claustrophobic space" in the form of music
Big props to them for making this the most creepy chase in horror game history
The reason it scary is because the music tells you that something or someone is after you and the fact that in the first few seconds it sounds like a predator is approaching you but you can't see him and huggy knows you have very few options to escape.
This is better than some of the other Chase themed sounds I've heard in other Survival Horror games TBH

Yep!And fun fact:It's canon that he toys with his prey,by playing dead "him acting as a statue" to the subtle hints that hes watching you "hand subtly gliding into a door while player walks down hall" after you make your own toy,and have hopes of escaping,a dark and eerie hallway opens up,then he appears deciding to begin the chase "him walking slowly towards the player instead of just jumping forward and eating them.. which he could have done" when in the vents he increases the panic level of his prey "Automatically inducing a panic response by quickly coming in range of his prey" and finally cornering his prey,"which can be seen by how he jumbs out of the door at the end of the chase"

He sorta did in chapter 3, a halucination/illusion chases you down a hallway, but its the real huggy, so yeah id def want him back for a little bit in a future chapter (hen he dies again lol)

I remember when this game first released in 2021 and i played it the chase scene was so terrifying i jumped out of my seat.

I can still hear the loud creepy alarms going off, Infact can someone edit it to include the alarm sounds? It helps enhance the feeling of dread in my opinion
I feel like Huggy Wuggy should be a killer in dead by daylight he just fits really good
And sense he’s super bright and doesn’t really fit the gritty atmosphere of Dead by daylight the devs could just make him darker and give him more rust and dirt spots on him

My friend was having stomach pains the entire ride in the car and when we got to our destination he starts running into the building saying "Poopies! Poopies! Poopies!" repeatedly. All I could think of was this music hoping he would make it to the bathroom in time 😂😂😂😂

Guys I think I realized something... so whenever huggy comes out from the darkness he slowly walks toward you even though he can run... aways he slowly walks to you and then when you get to the vent huggy actally starts running and crawling fast so you actally have to act quickly otherwise you will get eaten by him
