I’m sure that Kraftwerk is still so underrated. They’re gods. They have made the music of the future - they created new UNIQUE genre, first and the only in the music history that stands out of another genres.

It’s good to here Kraftwerk playing live like this instead of just triggering sounds on their consoles as now. Their modern live concerts all sound pretty much the same as the albums. Here it it is played live and all for the better. I can’t imagine the band actually playing keyboards live on stage today.
I saw Kraftwerk in the 1990s and recently... in the 90s they had quite a good jazzy keyboard player who was playing solos and basslines.... was pretty cool.... recently it all felt a bit canned I guess. Much prefer the old shows
Great to hear this in its primitive form. Synths had been around a few years with bands like Tangerine Dream and prog rock/jazz fusion bands but were still largely quite new to the listener and audience. Those electronic rhythms and pitched strings would be so evocative to a 1976 audience. The core rhythm track sounds like something coming from an ARP2600 to me. I remember being in Germany at underground stations in the 90s/2000s and hearing different sounds than I would hear in UK... music is everywhere I guess...
@@hotelmario5203 the orchestron are the noises you can hear at 9:52 its basically ralf playing the violin disc and having it go lower pitch. in autobahn 1975 and 1976 you can hear the orchestron choir disc

Not to mention it was the very first time the group with the classic lineup ever performed the song live

but Hutter played a keyboard all throughout the 80's n 90's even though they used those laptops. i saw them recently and he still used it.

Sounds like two greatest musical themes was finally invented during the coffee break in the middle of the song

Synths used instead Orchestron.
Orchestron was used but synth was also used making orchestron harder to hear
