To explain the Gas Giant thing, it was because there were two plants that hit it, so it’s ability activated twice. The first time it splashed and triggered surrounding abilities that rely on taking damage, then the second happened after that. Since the giant hadn’t died yet the garg throwing garg didn’t activate again bc there were no lanes

Also, the game updated again, and it reverted the unjust Puff Shroom Nerf! It also happened to create a King glitch worse than the Viking and Nurse ones combined… consistent turn 2 lethal is always fun!

@@doesthepanhandleevenmatter Pretty much any time you play a zombie while it’s in your hand, it becomes a knight automatically, so you just spam one and zero cost in the early game and overwhelm opponents from the get go with effective 5/7 guys on turn 1. If they somehow make it to turn 3, play Going Viral and there’s literally nothing they can do.

@ Neptuna might be better honestly, as Swabbie costs zero in addition to creating an amphibious knight.
The way the gas giant worked was the lane 1 giant got hit twice, and splashed, then the first splash triggered the second giant to splash, and that procced 2 garg throws. However, the first gas giant still had a second hit queued from the plants that hit it, which caused another round of splash.
So, really nothing crazy happened; the second giant did not splash the first giant or anything. It just looked weird because the second round of splash got delayed.

This is one of my favorite decks of all time too! I only have 1 garg throwing garg right now but other than the new fig they're my highest priority to craft! I even think the thing that got me back into this game and watching you again was your old version of this with botanist!!
I cannot wait for Fry to cover the latest patch. Playing Plants has been... genuinely painful. Even with Cyclecap getting it's 0'cost baby back.

I learned about it after conjuring him from brainstorm sig and then getting confused af why my tp zombie turned into knight.
Im so glad that they are actually making balance changes based on the community thoughts and not based on pure win rates anymore

For the 7th game. There were two plants that hit the gas giant. So it triggered twice, but not from the other gas giant, since it already had 0 health by then.
After a long, LONG time, I finally have hopes for this game. Maybe one day we will get the long awaited set 5
Was having fun with the latest update, was pleasantly surprised to see puff shroom reverted. But, uh, there's a new zombie glitch around, and it makes viking and nurse look like nothing lol (and it STACKS with viking).
I’m sure you know this by now but they reverted the Puff Shroom nerf so now he’s usable again!

Not so fun fact: king is bugged somehow, now it auto transforms zombies into knights upon being played (it also works with gravestones and transmogrify)
The whole series of events at 54:00 was beautiful, when its put into a highlight comp I hope it has music like the 1812 overture cannons.
Fry, I get that sometimes you ask "if this should be uploaded to RUclips", I just want to say even if a deck underperformed, we know you are a good player. You don't need wins to make good content. I'm here most of the time for the BS and you contagious laughter. If I found out future content was scrapped like this and it never reached men it would make me sad.
The gas giant got hit twice and it popped the first hit from left to right so the 2nd one proced after everything else was done
I think I know what happened with the double gas giant. The first one died from the 2 hits of 3 damage, it then did its first board ping which triggered the other gas giant to do a ping and both of them made Garg launcher throw its 2 Gargs. Then it went back to the first Gas Giant which did its second board ping and then death damage followed by the second Gas Giant doing another board ping for 4 damage across the board, 2 more gargs, and 5 damage to their face
I love that Fry is showing new decks that either weren’t super viable in the meta or are underrated in this new cool meta!
More new decks = More unique highlights 🤩
For the gas giant play, first gas giant gets hit twice in combat and is reduced to 0. It triggers once which triggers the other, then the first one triggers a second time because of the teamup hit which again triggers the second for a total of 4 splash damage.
It is the natural law of RNG things like this. When on your own you get great luck and the deck seems a bit unfair to use, but the moment you try to show it to other people RNG decides to make you the unluckiest man alive and make your deck look like trash in front of others

The 2nd round of splashes was because gas giant in 1 took damage from 2 plants in its lane during attack phase, it only did one at a time, but if you watch again, lane 1 gas giant only splashes twice, which is what should have happened considering 2 plants hurt it, the other gas giant got hit twice by gas giant 1, making the total splash 4
Fry there is a op bug with zombie king. If it is in your hand any zombie you play will turn into a knight of the living dead. Be weary

I had trouble finding games as zombies until I made my way to around rank 40 this season. Up to 5 minutes finding a game instantly down to your times as soon as I hit taco league. I’m assuming that’s the biggest queue problem

The first splash doesn’t bounce between them bc Gas #1 is considered dead, so it moves onto the Garg-Throwing step who has 2 throws stored
The second splash basically the same except garg can’t throw

Deck Idea: Wormhole (bugged to draw instead of conjure) used for a bounce house deck with face hitters. Wormhole mills them, bouncing with a full hand makes some cards unplayable (as of prepatch), and face hitters can’t get blocked. Alternatively shieldcrusher but that ain’t fun ain’t it?

You should try sun bandits with heroes other than rustbolt. Ra costs less so its no longer reliant on leap and turquoise skull got a buff too

I got notified this immediately after getting whooped by a Neptuna online that had every minion they played turn into a knight. I think it’s a bug with king in your hand that turns all zombies played into nights. It might be too toxic, but you should check it out fry (I lost on turn 2)
So a mini patch happened, bugs have been fixed and new stuff has been added, but of course because the janitor had to rely on himself and 2 other people who only said “approve and release” (they only said one out of those 2 words), they added more bugs

Seems to me one workaround with Zombot is “sticky” plants. Like Pear or Atomic Bombegrannet. Not perfect answers, but they spawn something when killed. Or potato mines/hot date. Again not perfect, but some of these might be able to be exploited somehow to deal with Zombot
I just thought of Grapes of Wrath too. If I look through list, there are probably other options. Mines,Bombegrannete, pear, Wrath were just what came to mind.
