Now I'm torn between keeping you a secret from them until I step up my game, and telling them all about you so I'd REALLY have to step up my game. I surfed your tiktok account looking for a video that would explain. I figured you would get so many questions, that you would have already answered most of them. I found a tiktok that pointed me to this video.

I first saw you in your TikTok vids. I was impressed with your performance skills. I know that you have faced an uphill battle to express yourself artistically since people in wheelchairs are not perceived as lead characters. I see you as a pioneer, someone that has to fight stereotypes and established perceptions to reach center stage. Your fight will be long, and there will be many setbacks for every victory. I encourage you to persist, and do not let the setbacks turn you bitter, cynical, or jaded. Your freshness, good cheer, and lightheartedness are keys to your performance skills. I would love to see you in a sitcom. It would be a MAJOR victory for many similarly situated if you can break through the societal barriers that hinder artists like yourself from taking center stage. Perhaps you may have to create the very medium for success.

Questions like that are exactly why they need to add lessons about disabilities etc to the school curriculum, If kids were taught at an early age about these things they wouldnt come out with stupid questions when theyre older and supposedly more mature.
I remember back in the 80's when i was at school they got a few wheelchairs and had able bodied kids use them for the day, it was a good thing to me a a wheelchair user myself, If they could do that 30 years ago, why cant they now.

Just a thought: I've found that most people who ask me why are looking for a was to assume it won't happen to them. If you were born that way, they're safe. If you were riding a horse, they're safe as long as they stay away from horses. I was driving 35 with a seatbelt on and THAT scares people. They just don't want to think bad things can really happen to them. And, of course, if you're just lazy then it's just not so bad. My $0.02.

Sadly it doesn't surprise me much. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder this past January. I had a nasty reaction where my white blood cells were attacking my red so most of my skin looked like it was going to bleed out through my pores. After the hospital doctors figured it out, I had to take tons of steroids since I'd developed pneumonia too. The steroids make you gain weight rapidly and people didn't seem to mind pointing it out to me. I'm not sure if it's a lack of common sense or a lack of manners but I was hearing about it at least once a day on the days when I would be able to go out. I like Melina's approach. Just make up whatever you want to. If I have to have a backstory, I'd rather it be multiple choice. Lol

In my dreams Im hardly ever in my wheelchair, Im always walking around. I can remember what it feels like to walk and run. I feel like I could get up and walk right now, but my body stops me!!!! I have a whole video on "what it feels like to be paralysed." and "why do I never dream Im disabled." Loads of people commented that they don't dream they have a disability in their dreams. Tiktok brought me here. I can finally move on with my life. You have no idea what its like to have have the obstacles of not knowing why that taleted, beautiful, funny, sometimes quirky, breath of fresh air is in a wheelchair. Was it a shark? Did she date mike Tyson? Is she faking it? So many questions. My life came to a halt. That is until i saw your tiktok! I immediately rushed over (subscribed of course) and watched the whole thing. Thank you for this. I started showering again, ill be going back to work tomorrow and now am also fully comfortable with returning back to school in the fall! I cant thank you enough! I know I speak for all of your fans when I say Thank you for allowing us to return to our lives and be productive citzens of this great society. Fuck Trump you're MAGA one post at a time.❤

First of all... thank you for sharing a little insight into you. We all wonder things about the people we see going passed us each day... but I feel it’s bad manners to ask why some people are so fat??? They get upset for some reason. 🤣🤣
