if you think about it when they first made their pact of "Always and forever" (it's somewhen in The Originals show shown for sure) it was only Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah holding their hands, Kol wasn't even around for their precious vow^^' it just goes to show he was never part of it and the siblings decide on a whim whether he has a right to call himself family or not (i.e. Klaus like aaall the time when he doesn't approve of something Kol does -- as in goes against anything Kol says, not to mention the amount of daggering and hurting him with his actions) and its heartbreaking to see.

HOW DARE YOU !!!!!!! this is too good, it broke my heart into tiny little pieces, you perfectly not just showed but transmitted the emotion to the viewer, i swear you need to be completely souless to not be moved by this all the quotes, all the scenes it's just so good it hurts you're awesome and i'm so so proud of you and all you said is true "TO's cas"? by narrative bias they parallel each other, tvd s4 vs spn s6 when they wanted the save the world but since "the protagonist" was too selfish it made them villains, how they're never allowed to be right, never allowed to be respected, or get well deserved appologies, only to used, or allowed to be badass because they'd be too awesome and take away the attention from "the stars" they're instead stuck in sh*tty storylines, why are writers like this it's like "oh you like what i wrote, how dare you you should only worship one character and buy my nonesense without thinking or 'you're not a "real" fan" sorry for the rant but you're right, i'd rather have kol written off but still in character than have him like last season, pathetic and weak every episode, i just hope that no matter what happens he'll survive the show so that we can be at peace and imagine whatever end we want for him being canon
