Sir you are really an inspiration for Sri Lankan students like me who aspire to climb up to the top levels in the software engineering career path. You have some valuable and unique content which are not given to us by other popular content creators. Keep it up.
I disagree with you when you say that we should not use these tools because we are software engineers, and we should do it ourselves. The AI model does not live in your brain, and neither does you know what you have in mind, but the results it generated were actually really good. The problem was YOU being so vague and not specific with the requirements. If you were to add your requirements (from the requirement gathering meeting), you would have got a much better ERD. Try it, and you will see how you can enhance your performance as a Software Engineer using these tools.
Hey, no worries! 😊 I didn't mean we shouldn't use AI just because we're software engineers. We should totally take advantage of every tool that can boost our productivity. What I was trying to say is we shouldn’t rely on AI to write our code or solve our problems entirely. It's great for generating ideas, but the solution should be yours, and you should understand every line of code you write / copy from stackoverflow or AI. Otherwise, when it comes to debugging, fixing bugs, or maintaining your code, you could end up in trouble. Also, I was just doing a quick live demo, so I didn’t spend too much time crafting the perfect prompt. But you're right! If you give the AI a detailed prompt with 100+ words, it can do an awesome job. Thanks for the feedback! 🙌
Keep denying we are doing something similar at very large scale by fine-tuning it with architecture best practices within company and AWS and calling it solution architect buddy ..
I’ll give it a go - to create flow chart, BPMN diagram, Application Integration diagram - Messaging system, and ERD diagram. I think your prompting needs to be more detailed and specific. You need to co-design with the AI.
yes I agreed. tool it self says add at least 80 words. i wanted to do a live review. thats why it happened. ill do more detail review with good prompt in next video. thanks for the feedback
claude is good at providing even complex solutions with any type of software engineering diagram. Mermaid charts and its notation is built into it.

thank you…!!!!! 😊
Not sure how practical it is to get a working solution out of it. But definitely will save time since solution in words to diagram.
it like co-design with the tool
It DID add the reserveQuantity as requested. You missed it. It appeared below the quantity field.
Interesting. I wonder what it might be in another 5-10 years.
Good one.

This person is trying to deny things let him do that
